RAW Plumbing & Heating

Worked for me for several years when I was in industry. If there was a breakdown just ring. He was there straight away job done, and minimal downtime. Now Iam retired looks after my plumbing and heating, again just ring, there ASAP. I always feel confident that it will be a job well done.

Raw Plumbing recently fitted a new boiler and central heating system for me. Richard gave me 3 quotes to choose from. The Raw team carried out the work within the time scale and quote. They are a reliable and trustworthy team, also very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend Raw to family and friends. So pleased to find a genuine plumber.

RAW plumbing and heating provided an excellent service in fixing our heating and hot water system, which kept going hot and cold and was under performing generally. Explained what the potential faults might be and did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem and fixing it. No call out charge and was very good value for money. Would have no hesitation in hiring them again.

Richard came recommended through a friend when my electric shower exploded. He was quick, courteous and reassuring. Whilst on that job we discussed a room conversion I was considering - resulting in returning with an electrician and joiner to carry out a quote. The team have just completed the conversion (Richard re-sited 2 radiators and fixed a leaky toilet). I now have RAW on speed-dial, am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of work, time-keeping, and value-for-money.

Richard saved the day for us twice last Christmas and New Year at very short notice. Our old (and neglected) Potterton boiler stopped working the day we were expecting a family of five as house guests and with a New Year’s Eve party to host the next day. We were so pleased with Richard’s friendly and considerate way of working during these emergencies that four months later when we decided to replace the boiler I didn’t even bother to ask for quotations from anyone else. Current flue regulations meant we had to relocate the boiler from the cellar to the ground floor in our 1911 house. We found his advice to be constructive and realistic and he and his colleagues completed the job efficiently and with minimal disruption. Richard came to us by recommendation and it’s a pleasure to pass on the recommendation to others.

Richard came to my rescue just before Christmas after I'd been let down many times by a timewaster plumber. Richard and his team completely refurbished by bathroom to an excellent, high standard quality of work. The whole team were reliable, always arrived on time and were hardworking. Richard's prices are excellent value for the high standard quality of work. I am so pleased Richard was recommended to me and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a perfect job. I recently had a leaking frozen overflow and after calling Richard he was there within the hour! You can't get a better service than that. RAW Plumbing has installed a 300L hot water cylinder, new boiler, wet underfloor heating and a shower room as part of a recent extension. All work has been carried out to a very high standard, and the service and commitment to the job has been excellent throughout. RAW Plumbing came recommended by our builder and has provided the best and most reliable service throughout the build. We will not be using anybody but RAW Plumbing in the future, and we are delighted to recommend RAW Plumbing to anyone who wants to pay for quality, reliability and trustworthiness.

We have found Richard Watt (RAW Plumbing) to be highly reliable and very good value in every way. We have a small lettings business in Leeds. Our previous regular plumber retired some years ago, and we then tried a series of plumbers, none of whom were cowboys but were in various ways not what we sought – rather expensive or hard to get out or not reliable in turning up and so on. Richard Watt has now been our regular plumber for several years on all water plumbing matters. His work has always been thorough, careful and neat, and he has on several occasions turned out to help us in awkward situations at short notice. His prices are reasonable. He will offer ideas and discuss possibilities whenever helpful, without pushing his own view and without recommending the most expensive possibility on offer. He has installed a complete bathroom in one house, and last summer 2010 also acted as in effect site foreman and works manager not just in installing the plumbing but building the room to put it in. For us that’s a big deal, so we were pleased and relieved to have in charge of the job someone we trusted fully. Came out at short notice at holiday time when we had a burst pipe. Then on a second planned visit, came at the time agreed. Rerouted the pipe that had given grief, and fitted new bath tap that had also been damaged by freezing. Well recommended.

Replacement Kitchen and Bathroom taps were fitted at my home. I had reviewed RAW a couple of months prior, and rang for the work to be completed at short notice. Richard stuck to the price originally quoted and was very magnanimous in accommodating my limited availability /short timescale. RAW carried out the work to a very high standard, despite unforeseen difficulties; that were flagged up on contact and appropriately dealt with. The RAW team were professional, polite, and courteous. Richard was also very helpful in terms of making suggestions on what needed to be done in order to prevent burst pipes etc. Given the recent cold spell. The RAW team were very hardworking and not only did they go the extra mile, but they also completed the job within the anticipated and agreed time scale. Richard and co. I needed a radiator supplied and fitted. RAW came back to me with a quote in less than 24 hrs! Very pleased with the work carried out and his professionalism was impeccable. We had an old bathroom replaced with a new bathroom and utility area. The products are of very good quality and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. The work unfortunately took longer than expected, owing to transport problems of both the plasterer and tiler. However, once this was resolved, all the parties involved worked hard to catch up - even through the recent spell of very bad snow and ice. We would recommend RAW Plumbing to friends.

Richard provided a very fast and efficient service for a leaking radiator. Job completed within an hour of calling, although it was evening. Very pleased with his service.

When my hot water tank went and I had no hot water, heating or washing machine RAW Plumbing provided a speedy excellent service. I would have no hesitation in contacting them again for future work. Richard and his team couldn,t be faulted. Needed a complete bathroom make-over including a walk in shower to replace my bath due to my illness and RAW plumbing more than obliged. Not only did they liase with us all along the way,they gave us a new bathroom with a WOW! Factor. MOST IMPRESSED. You will be too.
