There are so many baby music classes out there, but how many have an actual musician leading the group? Rattle and Hum Music is an independent music class created and run by me, a musician and mum with childcare experience, to bring all the genuine benefits of music to you and your child.

I gave birth to my daughter 6 weeks before the first lockdown, and when restrictions eased enough for me to get out to classes I was eager to see what was out there! Coming from a musical background I wanted to go to a music class, but after looking around and going to a couple, I found to my surprise that the classes didn't have much in the way of real musical instruments or even some with musical experience leading them.

So I decided to set up Rattle and Hum Music to give other parents and their children the opportunity to benefit from my 27 years of experience in music.
Using my degree in Music from Leeds Conservatoire, coupled with my knowledge of child development from working in a top Leeds nursery, I put together I course of classes which give a relaxed opportunity to explore songs, sounds, and most importantly, REAL INSTRUMENTS.

Each week features a different instrument, flute, saxophone, keyboard, and more! Not only do you and your child get to hear the instruments, but there is one on one time for them to explore and touch the instruments too.
