R J Hall Venetian Plastering

We live in an old building with lime plaster walls and we had Ricky in to plaster our whole kitchen which has been totally stripped out ready for a new suite. As it happens, he and his friend also ended up installing a suspended wooden frame ceiling after another tradesman let us down! Ricky is a very decent bloke who is very polite, punctual, trustworthy and knowledgeable about his trade. He was also very helpful when it came to being let down by other trades and also cracked the whip on our electrician who eventually turned up a day late to our job. Which happens to be one of Ricky's pet hates! Ricky had to make several visits to our flat as there was a lot of filling and preparatory work needed before the actual plastering could be done but after each visit, he would leave the room pretty spotless (for a room which is being plastered! ). I can't fault his work whatsoever (including the ceiling that was put up) and am really pleased that we were recommended him by a friend of ours. I would definitely use him again and recommend his services to anyone.

The ceilings in our house were Artex and Richard has just plastered the remaining landing and bedroom and we wish we had discovered him and his skill at the start of our Artex removal project as his finish is exceptional and of a far higher standard and better on cost than the previous work we have had done. Finally Richard is very polite, helpful and makes sure that he left the rooms clean and tidy.

Rich has plastered our whole house top to bottom. He is extremely friendly, helpful and offers exceptional value for money. His work is absolutely faultless - He has Venetian plastered 2 bathrooms for us also, which we love.

I sought quotes for skimming a ceiling and wall; a total of around 22 sq metres. The quote provided was 30% less than the next lowest estimate and less than half the highest estimate (7 Free Index quotes, plus two others received). The plasterer (Rickey Hall) had been trained in Venetain marbling techniques, hence the finish was exceptionally smooth and without a single blemish. Ricky was very friendly and full of advice.
