They dug out one side of mud from behind a retaining wall that had collapsed. They were quite rude with no manners. They didn't finish the job and left demanding money for the awful job they carried out. I had to tidy up such a mess that was left behind an unfinished job. Would definitely not recommend.

Disappointed that I got it so wrong. Initially Paul came round and gave me a quote for AstroTurf, which was reasonable. He was really friendly and gave the date of 23rd May to do. He did not turn up. Called him and dad had died. He said that he would now do early June. This came and went so called him. Still had issues. We agreed he would now do it by 9th July. Again no show and no call. I tried to call, but would not pick up call. Rang from different line and got him. He said he had an issue with daughter and would call back. No call. Contacted him again he promised he would now do on 27th July. Low and behold it still has not be done and no contact till I text him…. This excuse was he hurt his hand. He was suppose to have ordered skip but that did not show. I feel he had no intention of doing it and has spent the third of quote I paid him. I will now be taking him to court. Very stressful and unnecessary. All plans for this year ruined. I definitely would not recommend.Moreexpand_more

Great set of guys and great value.

New fencing installed. Paul was punctual, professional and very competitively priced. The work was completed to a very high standard and my neighbour and I are delighted with the end result.

Thanks Paul for your work and rectifying the problems. I initially gave a glowing review as was really impressed but after a few weeks problems were showing. Paul had to come back to re do the turf as it's wasn't laid flat and the cut was awful. I am still waiting for one area to be sorted and a few issues with the decking too. Hoping those will be sorted ASAP Just to clarify I am still waiting for the problems to be sorted a month on from relaying more turf! The ground hadn't been levelled satisfactory at all and the grass moves when walking on it. I'm still awaiting for that and the decking to be sorted. Have fixed another date for next week as hasn't turned up on previous occasions. Will keep you updated.

I would like to echo the positive sentiments seen in other reviews here. Paul from PSS Garden Services runs a great outfit - Hard working - Professional - Reasonably priced and the opposite to other firms I have used in the past. A great find!

Paul and Aaron fitted my artificial grass today and I very pleased how lovely it looks having been looking at mud for so long! They are both very efficient, polite, hard working and the standard of finish is excellent. I have already recommended them to others.

Paul laid a new artificial lawn in our back garden. The finish is excellent and we now have a outdoor space that we can use, Paul was very helpful and friendly from beginning to end and supplied us with samples that we could choose from and gave us excellent advise when the job was complete he through the after care plan with us and let the area very clean.

Paul and his team replaced turf in my garden at the end of April, Paul also laid slabs. I was initially thrilled with job as garden suddenly looked lovely and I gave PSS Services flying review. 2 days after slabs were laid, some became uneven and wobbly. I did not pay much attention to it as I thought it was normal settling process but I mentioned it to Paul via email. He responded that he would come again to fix it. Day later there was a heavy rain in Milton Keynes and at the end of the week, each slab was on different level. It looks awful. As Paul promised he would come back and lay them again, I did not worry too much; we agreed he would come on 18th or 19th May. No show on either of dates and no word of explanation. I contacted Paul on 20th and he advised he would call me later this afternoon to confirm new date. I did not hear from Paul after that.Contacted Paul on 25th May, he advised he would call me back shortly to confirm new date. Sadly, no phone call or email came.I took advice of another garden services and they literally laughed when I confirmed the way slabs were laid by Paul. They advised the soil underneath was not properly prepared / compacted and the job was not even half done.I must say it was confusing. Paul was so nice when he worked on my garden and I would hope I responded with kindness too. But now I had to chase him to fix bodged job and I found it very embarrassing.I took Citizen Bureau Advice; I contacted Paul again and asked for a refund. I understand he must be very in demand so if he has no time to fix the slabs, I would get someone else to do it. Paul replied to my email saying he would come to fix slabs on 2nd or 3rd of July. I contacted Paul again on 20th June to confirm which date exactly and he confirmed the 3rd of July.No show and no word of explanation. I send letter and an email asking for either refund or immediate repair. I received lots of apologies and promise Paul would come on 15th July in the morning. My husband took day off to stay home in order for Paul to have access to kitchen and toilette. Paul did not show up. Returned the call later on advising he would definitely be there in the afternoon. Called again around 17:00 to confirm due to family issues (daughter broke her arm) he would not be able to make it.Again, we were promised he would 100% come on 23rd July but when I emailed him asking to confirm it in writing – never received any reply. I am literally so stressed that I think about this case every evening when I try to get to sleep. I do not understand why anyone would treat us like this and waste our time. I have very little hope Paul will actually make it this Saturday and then I have to open court case.To sum up; I have seen photos of decking, fences and artificial grass PSS Services created. It looks pretty fab. But if you need slabs, then go elsewhere and save yourself nerves. As for professional attitude… well, I will let you decide yourself.Update on 6th Aug: Paul never turned up on 23rd July, texted me the very same morning saying he had family issues; reading the newest post from Jan from Stevenage I recalled him initially starting job in April with 2 days delay and advising he had to stay home as his wife's grandma passed away. I really felt bad being disappointed until I noticed review on this forum that made it clear that the same day Paul "stayed at home" - he was actually on another job. I had some artificial grass and slabs put down on Wednesday by Paul and Aaron. They have done a great job. I love the finished result can't believe how much bigger my garden looks. So pleased.

We had a 42 metre garden fence put up, which took 4 days hard graft. What can I say. Paul, Andy and his team where always punctual and put in a good days work. The end result is a great looking hedgehog friendly fence. They even repaired a leaking pipe under our block paving at no extra cost. We decided to have a new fence at the front of the house which we hadn't planned on, this was no problem. All in all highly recommend these guys. Will definitely use again. Thanks see you very soon.

I had a pergola built today by Aaron and Paul and I'm so pleased with the work carried out by them both, very friendly and gave good advice Very happy customer and would recommend to everyone.

Paul and aaron fitted my artificial grass today and did an amazing job, im so pleased with the results and turned out better than expected, they were also very reliable and informative.

Paul installed a gate in our back fence and laid a new path. He did the work in one day and kept me informed of what needed to be done throughout the day. The finished job was impressive and we are very pleased.

Paul recently installed a new fence in our garden all the work was carried out on time and and at a very good price too. He took all the old rubbish and let left the garden very tidy would not hesitate to use him again for any future garden projects.

Paul recently helped convert an unused piece of garden to a driveway. Paul was professional from the very start. He started and completed the job early and always kept in contact about the progression of the work. The completed work was excellent and within budget. Paul gives allot more than you ask for. I would not hesitate to use him again.
