We worked with Protostar on our understanding and approach to innovation and it was genuinely transformational. From learning about the theory of innovation to the development of new ideas and practical, everyday tools the impact across our organisation was hugely significant - we are better at what we do! A cup of coffee, a seemingly rambling conversation and suddenly wham - a lightbulb moment that clarified your thinking and identified a way forward. A great experience and an organisation I would highly recommend.
We have engaged Protostar to conduct our Annual Employee Survey for the last two years and have found their service to be efficient, they will again lead our annual survey for 2021. Protostar also provides a prompt service when handling requests to carry out personality questionnaires during our recruitment process.
I have been in management positions for a number of years and decided I was overdue a refresh in my coaching skills following a role change at work. Protostar worked with me as an individual creating a tailored programme rather than an off the shelf offering. We started working with Protostar at the beginning of last year and specifically Michael. As a Company going through significant change, we wanted to understand the dynamics of our culture and look to build a new, strong culture moving forward. Michael was able to provide us with great insight and drew on his experiences to support us in creating a positive culture that would take us to the next stage of the company's growth and establishment. As a result we made a number of changes that also incorporated the input from our employees through focus groups that Michael facilitated. Michael ran a strategic thinking programme for 20 of our senior managers. Many were very experienced and had been in the business several years, but all bar non, sang the praises of the programme and have been able to apply their learning to their everyday roles. Michael has a great wealth and depth of experience and knowledge that means he can put the theories and ideas he teaches into context/relevance within our organisation relevance so that we can translate the learning into our day 2 day operations.
Protostar have delivered a series of management development workshops to over 120 managers at Draeger, and we continue a positive and resourceful collaboration with them. Protostar ran our European employee engagement survey. As many of our staff work onboard Eurostar trains, we needed a flexible and multi-language survey and Protostar delivered on this. They also provide our managers with 360 feedback and management training. Highly recommended.
I contracted Protostar after doing some research and looking at previous companies recommendations of their training, specifically to target some key area's where our Supervisory team needed strengthening. Their consultant working in conjunction with us tailor made a package to suit our requirements. The level of training and consistency of dealing with the Supervisors on a one to one basis has been excellent and the positive results of this training are now being clearly demonstrated on the shop floor.
Protostar provided us with support on reward, performance management and change management. They were quick to react to feedback and provided solutions in quick timescales. Their solutions met our requirements on a practical and cultural basis. They supported us with identifying appropriate solutions and also provided ongoing support and guidance on how to gain buy in at all levels of the organisation which was invaluable.
I have used Protostar for a variety of Management Training Sessions for the last 3 years. The company has worked closely alongside us to ensure any training provided is relevant to both our sector (healthcare) and also organisational policy / procedure. Staff are always motivated and eager to attend training sessions provided by Protostar and the impact of the sessions have had some positive outcomes in the development of individual staff members.
Protostar conducted an employee survey which was very comprehensive and well structured. We then used Protostar in a number of management development workshops during 2012 as a follow up to the survey with some very beneficial results. We have already committed to a follow up survey and will use Protostar for further management development workshops in 2013.

First came into contact with Michael about 4 months ago while researching funding opportunities for Northern Rock. Although Northern Rock did not take take up the opions available to us, Michael support was excellent, clearly detailing what options were available and how he could support us through the often difficult application process. Despite not taking up the funding opportunities Michael remained in contact with me and just recently supported me with well structured outplacement framework.
