My daughter paid for a repair and new battery £350 upfront back in March. He was supposed to change the motherboard and battery. It took a few weeks for Omer to return the Mac-book and he guaranteed it was working perfectly. 1 week after it stopped working. My daughter was trying to reach him by phone but the number had been disconnected. She also went back to the shop several times and it was always closed. She had to take the laptop to a different repair shop and she was told (Photographic evidences as a prove) that the motherboard was still the original and the same happened with the battery. Omer Ackeylan is a scammer as this has happened to several students at University of Bath. Therefore it needs to be reported to Consumer Trading Standards.Moreexpand_more

Took my laptop in for the battery to be replaced and a few keys replaced. Paid upfront. Was supposed to take 2 days. It's been more than 2 weeks now and Omer has disappeared. I need to get my laptop back but the shop is never open. Based on the notes pinned to the front door I'm not the only one very concerned about recovering their laptop.
