Professor Dan

We were so pleased with service Professor Dan provided for our son's 5th birthday. The communication was really clear so we knew exactly what he needed from us. On the day it went brilliantly and we had so many positive comments from happy parents! Most importantly he made the birthday boy feel really special and gave him a really enjoyable birthday. I completely recommend him!

We booked Professor Dan and his 2 hour party package for my daughters 6th birthday recently. The children all aged 3. 5 to 8 were enthralled from start to finish (as were some of the grownups ? ). It was fab having Dan to lead the whole party (other than the food in the middle) so I could see my daughter and her friends having a great time. Would not hesitate to recommend!

We had professor dan for my sons 5th birthday party, all the kids loved him and he kept all 20 kids entertained for over two hours. Such a lovely man and great entertainer would definitely recommend.

I found Professor Dan through a recommendation of another children’s entertainer who wasn’t available. I’m really pleased we went with him because the kids had a fantastic time. My son, age 3, was initially unsure but he really got into it and by the end of the party was buzzing as were the others. I think Dan has a great way of bringing children (and adults) out of their shell. The jokes were funny albeit quite cheesy but that is what made it so entertaining for the kids and for lots of the adults too! My particular favourite was the massive magic wand he pulled out of his bag around 6 feet tall! It had everyone in stitches. The kids also loved the balloon teddy bear models. Dan also very kindly made an enormous Octopus ballon as a gift for my son which was so intricate that it did leave me astonished. It’s still standing 6 weeks later although a little deflated now. He said the balloons can take hours to make and this shows how much attention to detail and care goes into his performances. He was also punctual and really took charge which made the day stress-free which is exactly what you want in order to enjoy your child’s party. I really wanted to give Dan 5/5 for all categories but the only thing I think could be improved was communication beforehand as I would have liked him to be more responsive when confirming receipt of deposit and calling me a little earlier to discuss the details of the party. This left me a little nervous as I didn’t know what to expect but all turned out great in the end and it was probably me letting my nerves get the better of me. We booked Professor Dan for my husband's 60th and to make up for all our grandchildren's birthdays that we'd missed during lockdown. Every one was captivated. Every one watched it. Everyone loved it. It made for a lovely, funny, and colourful memory for us all. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Professor Dan, he's an extremely professional professor and excellent value for money.

We booked Professor Dan for children’s entertainment for a wedding and from start to finish he was fantastic! We would highly recommend him and we plan to book him over and over again in the future.

We booked Professor Dan twice for our sons’ 6th birthdays. He was absolutely brilliant both times, keeping a range of ages laughing and engaged for almost an hour. He is professional, good value and very nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again and highly recommend him as a great entertainer.

I was so impressed with Professor Dan at my two son’s birthday party (ages 3 and 6). He managed to keep all the children, of different ages, engaged for the whole time. It was so nice to hear them laughing all the way through the party. Absolutely wonderful!

Dan was brilliant at my daughter's sixth birthday party - she and all her friends had a great time, as did the adults. Some said they had never seen their children laugh so much.

We first saw Professor Dan at Lotherton Hall and I had never seen my son laugh so hard! We subsequently booked him for my son's 4th birthday party. The party was a huge success and we had many compliments from other parents. The party ran so smoothly, and it was great to have the kids entertained and be able to sit back and enjoy watching them all have fun. The children (& adults) thought Professor Dan was hilarious and he had them all engrossed from start to finish. My son had requested a Punch and Judy show, and was actually crying with laughter he found it so funny. I cannot recommend Professor Dan enough and we all look forward to seeing him again soon.

He has a natural and very kind manner with children and adults, and impressive magic skills! I was pleased to be able to chat through the details with him beforehand. Professor Dan is a great entertainer! He kept 20 children aged between 2 and 8 entertained and engaged the whole time! I really recommend him. Our 5 year old had the best party and I will certainly use professor Dan again ? .

So funny and really engaged the kids. I never thought anyone could get the attention of 36 children but the professor did! Great games and magic tricks which left the kids wanting more. My 4 year old and my 6 year old nephew now also want the professor for their respective birthdays!

Fantastic! Dan provided a range of entertainment at my auntys 60th bday and had the children and adults in stitches. If your looking for an act to keep everybody entertained than look no further.

We had Professor Dan come to entertain the kids on our wedding day and I could not recommend him enough. He did an absolutely amazing job and the kids loved it! It was a fabulous way to give the Kids something to look forward to (as weddings can be dull for kids), and it purposely was planned to run over the speeches so the adults could all relax and enjoy in peace. We won’t hesitate to have professor Dan again for future special events- he was fab.

Professor Dan entertained fifteen, three to five year olds for two hours and he was a massive success with everyone. Starting with jokes, then a Punch and Judy Show, and finishing with party games, they were all engaged from start to finish. We booked Dan from his online reviews and it was a great decision. He was easy to deal with, professional, reliable, helpful and the children loved the whole thing. Highly recommended and would use again.

Everyone had a splendid time at the party and as hosts we were able to relax and let Professor Dan work his magic. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Thanks for the great entertainment at Lucy's party. The kids all had a blast and enjoyed getting to put their wands into action. Great tricks and cheesy humour! The masterpiece balloon was an unexpected surprise and Lucy loved it!

We hired Professor Dan for a joint 4th birthday party. He was excellent, kept 23 children fully engaged and entertained - there was lots of shouting and real belly laughs. He got all the children to join in. He was punctual, friendly and professional, he rang a few days before to discuss plans. My son absolutely loved his party and I had a stress free day!

Professor Dan performed his Punch and Judy show at our Karate Clubs 30th Anniversary. I wanted something different from the usual magic act and Professor Dan certainly met with that criteria. His effect on the audience was hypnotic. They were mesmerised. And that was the adults. He had total control over the children and had them eating out of his hand before the show. Then the actual Punch and Judy show was magical. Lots of fun, nostalgia. A really professional show. I really recommend him.
