Came within an hour of my phone call even though it wasn't urgent. Engineer was polite and helpful, did an excellent job really quickly and accepted credit card payment. Can't be faulted. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

I required my deadlock to be changed on my front door. PPM Locksmiths gave me good advice regarding what would be best for me and their employee was punctual, polite and friendly and most inportantly his work was first class and he swepted up after. Very impressed.

After coming home from a long weekend break in London, I'd realised that I had lost the keys to my flat. I thought it was the end of the world and that I'd have to sleep on my doorstep, luckily I had my phone with me, so I decided to search for 24 hour locksmiths. PPM came up top of the results so I gave them a call. The engineer came within 20 mins, despite it being the early hours of the morning, and was able to get me in to my flat swiftly and quietly. The young, well mannered engineer showed me that my old lock was actually vunrable, and was able to put a new secure lock in, that didn't have the flaw my old one had. Taking the time into consideration, I expected to pay a lot more than I did, so not only were PPM prompt, but they charged a very reasonable price. All in all I am more than happy with the service I had and the new security lock I now have. I would highly recommend PPM, and I am always going to keep their number in my phone.

Excellent service provided by the locksmith who attended and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone, with sound advice on security and what was required for my insurance policy. They provided me with a full survey and carried out the work required the same day. Overall excellent service and would recommend to anyone.

I have a multi-locking UPVC front door which is about 20 years old, the locking mechanism of which had been 'sticking' for a while. I looked through Yellow Pages and subsequently called PPM Locksmiths. The young man from the company, informed me that the problem was age related. The door, not me ! He replaced the old lock with an upgraded version and adjusted the door. And all is now well. The only criticism I have is that he left oily finger marks on the door.

I used PPM Locksmiths to sort out several problems after buying a new house. They were polite, efficient, turned up when they said so and provided an excellent value service. They were honest and sorted out problems without attempting to sell anything unnecessary. I would not hesitate to use them on future occasions.

I needed to change my lock and the work was done on the same day that I asked for the work to be done. I wasn't charged a call out fee because my friend in the same town was also having new locks fitted _ I thought that was very reasonable. The young man who fitted the locks was on time, courteous and did the job well and very quickly and left no mess. I was able to pay by credit card. For all these reasons I would definitely recommend this locksmith again.

I had a sticking front door lock which eventually stopped working. I called PPM and they sent someone out to me straight away. They replaced my lock with a similar type but advised that I should upgrade it at some point, for better security. The man that did the job was very polite and personable. All in all I found them to be very helpful and easy to deal with: also it cost less than I anticipated,so that was an added bonus.

I recently had an urgent security and safety problem at home, involving both front and back door locks. PPM got someone out straightaway to make the situation safe, and offered a choice of permanent solutions with info to help me decide. The work was then done at a time that was convenient to me, and at a very good price. In all respects, this was exceptional service.

When my sister was locked out she called some guy to get her in. He was very quick, and very cheap, but he didn't tell her that her lock was pathetic, and a few days later she was burgled. PPM Locksmiths put new better locks on the front door, and checked out the other door and the windows free of charge. If she had called them in the first place when she was locked out, she might not have been burgled. There are too many cowboys who are happy to take your money without really doing a proper job, the way PPM Locksmiths did. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to be secure in your own home. Expert company, and not expensive either.

Poor, poor, poor. My fiancee was locked of our flat (easily enough done, i've done it myself) But when I was locked out another lock smith open our yale lock within 5 seconds. PPM Drilled the lock without even trying to pick it! Then they charge for labour and the new, not needed lock! On top of this, they inserted their own brand lock which only they can cut new keys for. Very rude when I returned from work and confronted them. Scam artists who bend the rules to make the most money they can! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! TO THE RESPONSE - I phoned the company and had a long phone conversation with them, to which all they had to say was "Come and speak to us face to face" They were very rude on the phone and seemed to have a pre-determined script that basically tried to blame us for them drilling the lock and replacing it with a poorer quality own brand lock. The faff that is spouted below is pretty much what I was told on the phone. However our lock was perfectly adequate and our building secure with deadlocks and yale locks. It was just a mistake that the yale lock had shut behind my fiancee.2nd Response:The comments from this company are untruthful, unprofessional and slanderous. I have no locksmith experience and have never worked for this company. My fiancee has a receipt from when the work was done (£93.59, receipt number 0745). As mentioned before the work carried out was unnecessary and expensive. We have now had the locks changed again as we do not want to return to PPM to get extra keys cut.Moreexpand_more

The key has been working really well with all the locks etc; on the car with the exception of the car doors, it will lock them but not unlock them, we have had problems with the doors for a long time so think the doors are probably the problem that needs sorting and not the key itself.
