The business specializes in high quality studio portraiture, photograph restorations, video and cine film to digital conversions, digital oil paintings and much more. All finishing work and digital conversions are carried out in house by our own staff who have over forty years of experience.
All photograph restorations at Portraits by Hart are completed by Linton Hart. Linton has over forty years of photograph retouching experience and over twenty years of digital editing experience. In 2008 he was awarded the title of SWPP UK Digital Art Photographer of the Year. So, you can be assured your treasured old photographs are in good hands.
Portraits by Hart are equipped to carry out a wide variety of studio portraits. We have a large camera room which can accommodate family groups, smaller families, individuals and even pets. Whether your photographs are for business or pleasure we can probably cater for your needs.
At Portraits by Hart we now offer a unique service little seen in the UK. Digital oil paintings created individually by Linton Hart from your own photographs. If you have a photograph of a loved one, pet, car or even a house we can now create digital oil paintings from them. The finished result is an individual work of art at a much lower cost than a good traditional oil painting.

I was more than delighted to have my hand painted ceramic pieces photographed by harts. The service was exceptional even to having some small ones made for paper weight prototypes.
