Polaris Acoustics is an independent UK acoustic consultancy providing professional noise impact assessments, noise surveys and acoustic reporting for residential and commercial developments.

We specialise in providing detailed planning noise assessments relating to standards such as BS 8233:2014 and BS 4142:2014+A1:2019. We work with developers, architects, planning consultants and individuals who require a noise assessment for their scheme.

Previous work includes assessing noise for new Padel Courts, refurbished Class MA (commercial to residential) buildings, new residential schemes and plant installations for restaurants and other commercial and industrial noise impacts.

If you require a noise assessment for planning, or assistance in detailed acoustic design for your project, Polaris Acoustics can help. We can provide detailed acoustic surveys across the UK, including Northern Ireland and Crown Dependencies. Our services also include engineering methods for the prediction of noise from or to your proposed scheme using our proprietary ISO 9613-2 prediction software.
