If you want a ‘professional’ photographer with ’15 years’ of experience to take photos like this, feel free to contact him. Else, stay away. Absolutely horrifying experience working with him. Friendly and responsive at first, but after receiving the money, he delayed the delivery of all my pictures and refused to respond to my texts and calls. He was being extremely vague in the messages and avoided most of my questions, and after 1 week he only sent me half of the photos. When confronted about it, he said it was deleted. I then offered to help recover the deleted photos as these photos were very precious to me, as it was my girlfriend’s graduation, a once in a lifetime event. But lo and behold, after my technical assistance offer, the photos miraculously weren’t deleted anymore. He was just busy having his vacation, sipping on the mojito I probably paid for, blaming me for wanting the photos that I paid him for. I had to chase him up for more than a week to get him to send all my pictures. After waiting for an additional week, the other half of the pictures arrived. This photo were photo was part of the photos he ‘edited’. I was extremely surprised to see the disparity between the quality of the photos he has taken for me, and the ones on his portfolio. He just wasn’t ready on the day or was just trying to exert the minimum effort for the maximum pay. He didn’t take the time to retake the photos that were bad, or just couldn’t care to even review the photos he took on the day. There were many important moments that were not captured properly. Blamed my girlfriend for some of the missed moments, but we have video evidence refuting his claim. We even gave him heads up that we wanted those specific moments captured properly. First he lied about the photos being deleted, then he lied that my girlfriend caused him not to be able to capture certain moments. It was a busy day for both us, and I thought I paid for a professional photographer, so we didn’t check any of the photos he took until 2 weeks later due to his delay. Now the moment is gone and those moments we would like to be captured are gone too. I then sent him several long texts, demanding an explanation and a partial refund for his half-baked work and work ethic. He chose to do the most mature thing, ignoring me. How he managed to do this for 15years baffles me. Think again when considering him, do yourself a favour and avoid disappointment by looking elsewhere for a more able photographer if you want your important moments captured.Moreexpand_more
