Pete has a warm, reassuring, distinctive and engaging voice. Essentially it's a neutral English voice with a hint of North West England giving it an “everyman” quality which is in great demand. Pete can also do a multitude of accents/characters and is a gifted impressionist. As well as his native subtle Cheshire accent he often provides Voiceovers using Standard English (RP), Liverpool, Manchester, and South Wales dialects. Pete has also demonstrated a huge range of other voices and accents; For the audio book "Framed" he narrated with a Liverpool accent and performed 60 further character voices (men, women and children) with accents from all over the UK, one from the USA and even a comedic Polish dentist!
