Pet Pastel Portraits specialises in professional hand painted original portraits of both human and animals in pastels from your photographs.

I am a professional Somerset (UK) based artist trading as Pet Pastel Portraits by Fur and Field Art Studio. I take commissions for pet portraits hand painted in pastel capturing the individuality and personality from favourite photographs. The portraits are individual, true to the image representation provided with an added essence that inspires an emotional response. I feel our beloved pets deserve to be honoured in such a personal and unique way and it’s a joy to provide that to my clients.
I now also paint commissions of people, with our without animal companions.

About the artist;
I received a diploma in Art Foundation from The Bath Academy of Art when it was based in beautiful a Georgian building at 99 Sydney Place in the centre of the city. A BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design (renamed Interior Architecture) followed from the West Surrey Institute of Art and Design (now the University for the Creative Arts) on the Farnham campus in Surrey.
I have had a few small individual and combined exhibitions in Wiltshire and Hampshire.
After leaving a career in Interior Design and surveying I now accept commissions for both pet and people portraits.
