About Perth Shotokan Karate Academy
Perth Shotokan Karate Academy teaches traditional Shotokan Karate to people of all ages and is affiliated with SKIGB under Hanshi Asano 9th Dan. The club, which is located in Perth and originally formed in the 1970's, was reformed in 2012 and the instructors have over 50 years' Shotokan Karate experience and are members of the British Team.All instructors have full disclosures and the club is accredited with PACES.
The club is currently led by Mark Lewis (4th Dan) and David Scobie (5th Dan).
Their chief instructor and grading examiner is Hanshi Asano - 9th Dan.
