Really wouldn't recommend this shop. Staff rude unhelpful and quite arrogant. Want to purchase a stokke parasol in blue. Checked their website had 2 in stock. Phoned them to check they had it, they said yes so I drove 48 miles from bradford to York to pick it up only to be told it wasn't in stock. The woman I spoke to on the phoned had put a blue bugaboo parasol to one side. Now there's a big difference I stokke and bugaboo! But I was made to feel like it was my fault, the manager told me that the website stock wasn't upto date and he had sold the last one to France ages ago. Then tried to tell me that the woman told me it was that product. Now I wouldn't drive 48 miles, 96 mile round trip, to purchase the wrong product. Ridiculous. An apology and the manager saying the woman who I spoke to would be dealt with would have helped, even if he had no intention of doing so. Poor service, poor attitude.Moreexpand_more
Response : Good Morning Mr Wigglesworth, As I stated on Saturday I am sorry there has been some sort of mix up in communication between yourself and one of my senior sales advisors. She would not have put a Bugaboo parasol away in Royal Blue for you if you wanted a Teal Blue Stokke model, any mistake here as per our conversation is not intentional and again I am sorry about this. Yes you are correct the website was not correct and as stated I did advise you that the last parasol did go to France about 10days ago.
I understand your frustration when manufacturers change colours, the Teal Blue you require was discontinued last year by Stokke. As per your phone call earlier in the week to get a full set of fabrics, carrycot and other accessories you were advised that these were not available in store as they had been discontinued and we had sold out, but as you know we contacted the manufacturer and were advised that we could still get these items in stock for you as a special order. On Saturday I offered to contact the manufacturer to see if I could get a parasol for you in the Teal Blue and that I would come back to you early this week to confirm availability, you declined this offer as you stated that you had tried elsewhere and had been let down.
