As a late starter to paramotoring (66), I was pleased to find the training geared to my pace and the instruction methodical and just as important, fun. The airfield is a great place to learn to fly, having plenty of space and integration with other aircraft types develops airborne awareness and airmanship.
I met Simon on his training field around 8 years ago. Me and a few new students gather around as he explain as mutch as needed, let us practice at our own pace, help where needed and explain even more. I was very nervous/overexcited , he scaled it back to a pace where I was comfortable, it is fun after all ! I still fly from the training field, geting advice and help when I needed it. On a typical training day you meet students as well as experianced pilots. They became friends ! .
I've always wanted to fly but couldn't justify the money it takes to get a private pilot license. I found paramotortraining (dot) com and then got addicted to watching them fly on youtube. I called Simon and explained that I wasn't the fittest of 42 year olds. And that I didn't have a clue. He explained that it didn't matter how long it took, his team will get me flying. The team made me feel very welcome. I had a laugh every time I attended and was sad when the days ended. I highly recommend the weekends away that they organise. They have some stunning places to fly and they've always welcomed me and my family.Moreexpand_more
I would highly recommend Paramotor Training LTD and have done so to a number of people. I have always had a fantastic experience with Simon and the team at the PMC club, a very relaxed and professional team. If you are considering getting into the sport, then Simon and the team are the place to go. They are always on hand for advice even after you have learnt to fly and they also put on some great events throughout the year to bring everyone together.
I am roughly half way through my training and I can't rate these guys enough! From the bare basics of unpacking and repacking a wing to talking you through your first flight, the help and advice from Simon, Colin and the rest of the staff is excellent. Not only that but you get to learn on school equipment. I have to travel 2 hours just to reach the field each time, but it's completely worth it. Can't get this training anywhere else.
I wanted to learn paramotoring for a while, i'm half way through my training and it's fantastic, if you're looking to learn I would highly recommend paramotor training ltd. The instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable and guide you through everything. Top class service and great value too!
Both my partner and I went for training with Simon and his instructors over a year ago. Despite really struggling to find time to get to the airfield, every visit was worth every second. Doesn't matter if we were ground handling, following Simon or Colin's instructions or taking part of the discussions on the airfield (where there were always golden nuggets of information! ). Most importantly though, we've felt like part of the family from the start. We've made some great friends there while learning to fly!
The place where dreams are made. I had a very positive experience with Simon, Colin and team. Friendly, patient, effective Paramotor training. All equipment supplied and no time limit. Couldn’t have asked for more. If you want to learn to Paramotor give Simon a call. Oh, and the PMC club events are great.
Had a really good and ongoing experiance with Simon and the team at the PMC club, very relaxed and professional team. Did all my traning in just a few weeks and was flying pretty quickly on my own, help with all aspects and some very very valuable lessons from wind weather to airlaw. As a member now of the club I look forwards to the annual meets and catching up with the people in the sport. .
