About Oxford School of Photography
Established in 1982, Oxford School of Photography has many years' experience in offering photographic tuition and courses, and provides courses in photography to the general public and organisations throughout the local area. The company is situated in Oxford.
All the courses are recreational and aim to help the students to achieve better results from their cameras. Some people use the courses as a stepping stone towards a vocation in photography, gaining more skills before going to college to study for a qualification. Most of the evening classes last 4 sessions, one per week and are lecture, demonstration, slide presentation and practically based.
The courses currently available are: Understanding Your Digital SLR Camera, Understanding Your Digital Compact Camera, Composition in Photography, Practical Photography - How to shoot, Introduction to Photoshop, Portrait Photography, Photography as Art, Garden and Plant Photography. OSP also offers photographic tuition and training on a one to one basis. Students may be unable to attend the evening classes or they may not have the time to wait for the next series of courses or may feel that they can learn more on a one to one basis.
Oxford School of Photography offers group tuition also. As with one to one tuition the client defines what they want to learn. The group might be friends or a company or University department. Preparation of a course for the client is with reference to their existing skills and what they are trying to achieve, in many instances the group needs to know something specific to improve their work and this is the basis of the course.
The Oxford School of Photography is owned by Keith Barnes who has been involved in the photography courses and training industry for many years. Keith Barnes is a professional photographer and experienced enough in many fields to offer excellent courses and 1-2-1 Tuition.0 FreeIndex Reviews
