DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY if you value your property and time! Shockingly bad movers and scammers. We hired them for our move from London to Bristol in March. We hired two vans and three movers. They gave us an arrival time window of 9-10am. The first van arrived at 10:15. The second van didn't turn up until 12:45pm. No hint of an apology, even tried to joke about it with me later in the day. We almost missed closing time for the storage unit we were moving to as a result. Regarding the move itself, one of the movers tried to pick up three fragile boxes at once as literally the first thing he did that day and promptly dropped them heavily on the floor right in front of me. No apology and he just continued to precariously pick them all up at once together. Before they started moving anything I also briefed them carefully about the fact we had fragile boxes which were absolutely not to have other boxes stacked on top of them. We had marked them in large black letters with FRAGILE - DO NOT STACK! Despite this, when we arrived at the storage facility they proceeded to stack 4 tiers of boxes on top of 5/8 of the fragile boxes. Luckily I didn't trust them by this point so I checked the boxes and discovered this. When I confronted them about this they got extremely defensive, tried to deny they'd done it (I then literally showed them that they'd done it) and then they proceeded to complain that there were too many fragile boxes. They also unpacked the contents of our house like utter imbeciles, there was absolutely no thought in how they unpacked things to utilise the storage space well, which meant that we almost didn't fit everything in the storage space and would have had to have paid for a larger excess space. I had to step in and start organising their stacking once I had realised that they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. They got offended and lairy with me when I started doing this and it was very unpleasant. The next moving company we used to move out of storage was absolutely shocked at the appalling way they had packed everything in to the unit. They also shoved our large 50 inch tv into a stupid spot on it's side (very bad for large TVs), created huge gauges/scrapes on the top of one of our desks, left large scrapes on the seat of one of our office chairs, dropped two of our cycling helmets from above head height straight on to a concrete floor right in front of me. To top things off, when we followed up to claim the broken helmets on their insurance (we couldn't claim the other stuff as we didn't discover it until we moved out of the storage), after initially responding, they have now completely ignored all of our emails over the last 4 weeks (we have sent about 5 more). Absolutely disgraceful scammers. Horrific experience, hundreds of pounds worth of damage (could have been thousands if the TV had been left in that position longer). I've never had a single issue with any other movers (having moved 5 times in the last 6 years). Do yourself a favour and do not hire this company.Moreexpand_more

Terrible removal company. Now I know why they were cheaper than the competition. They did not take care while moving my belongings, dropping multiple boxes and items, huge scratches along surfaces and storing my Television on its side. Worst of all, when trying to contact them to claim through their insurance for my damaged items, they simply aired me and have still not responded after multiple follow-up emails. AVOID AT ALL COST.

The team at Omega were excellent from booking to move day! The removal team were so friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face even when the neighbours at our new place were complaining about us blocking the road! They were really patient when we didn’t get keys until later in the day and despite me tryjng, they made sure I didn’t lift any heavy boxes (as I’m pregnant). The whole experience was stress-free and I’d absolutely recommend you guys to anyone moving.

Moved from a flat to a house. Required 2 vans and 4 movers for that. Covered fragile items, such as TV, so they don't get scratched. All four movers were carefully placing the items in the new house and made sure they reassembled the wardrobe as straight as possible.

The Omega team were amazing! They were really prompt to set up the move and answer queries; the team that did the move were amazing--fast, careful and always smiling and helpful. It was a complicated move (from two places to three locations) and they managed it beautifully. Can't recommend them enough!

Omega Removals were prompt, friendly, quick and professional. They gave good advice on the number of boxes we would need and the quotation was competitive. On the day they arrived on time and loaded everything onto the Luton vans (more convenient on narrow Bristol streets) super fast. Similarly at the new house they unloaded quickly, were courteous and helpful, and there were no breakages or damage to anything. They were lovely to our dog, who was constantly in the way! Would recommend.

The whole removal was seamless! The booking was easy and Claire was exceptionally friendly and professional. The FaceTime call to see our house and its contents was really beneficial and easy to do. The quote was competitive and very good value! On the day of the move the lads turned up in the morning and moved our items with ease and expertise. They were full of smiles and were so helpful from the start. They all helped to ensure our belongings were treated with care and moved smoothly! They even helped me with my snagging list as we were moving into our new home. We got several quotes for our upcoming move, Omega was the most reasonable and could fulfill our timeline. The “team” showed up on time, were efficient, polite and hardworking. They completed our move quickly and were very careful with our furniture and placed everything where we asked them to. They even came back out when we needed help in moving a mattress from our 2nd floor to the loft (our mistake) at no extra cost. Definitely would use Omega again!

The staff were great very efficient and polite from office to road very reassuring and the guys on the day were fantastic at keeping our spirits up.

Collected a sofa from Bath and delivered to North Bristol. Called when running late and were really helpful with extra requests. Two people required, so good value. Second time we've used them and would recommend. Overall, great service.

The service we received both in the lead up to our move and on the was absolutely brilliant. Claire was extremely helpful in the lead up to the move, she was approachable with any daft questions, flexible with move dates, she kept me informed and was professional at all times. On the nice day, the guys were great; efficient, friendly and careful. They made the day very easy and almost carefree!

We had several quotes from other companies, Omega were average in price and even due to the short timescale between exchange and move were able to fit us in for our chosen day. The team of guys turned up at 8. 30am and from the start were friendly yet professional. They worked quickly and efficiently and we were impressed with how seemless the pack up was completed. Again at the new house they delivered all our goods without any issues, no breakages and all our possessions were in the rooms we requested. Our bed was dismantled and put together again for us and we were able to have everything sorted enough for our first night in our new home. We would highly reccomend Omega, who gave us great service from quotation to move.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From someone coming to the property to give a quote to the packing where nothing arrived damaged, to the move itself was handled smoothly and professionally. All of the team worked super hard on move day to get the job done in a timely and conscientious manner.
