Oldbury’s Building Restorations Ltd (Oldbury’s) provides masonry restoration works for buildings and historical properties, based in Exmouth, Exeter and Devon. Founded in 1989, Jon’s passion for conservation was cultivated in his bricklaying apprenticeship. He extended his knowledge by studying Building Conservation at Bournemouth University and working as a supervisor for a steeplejack company.

Now a family run business with Jon working with his sons, it is this passion and craftsmanship that is reflected in Oldbury’s using traditional techniques and skills.

Oldbury’s are proud members of SPAB, The Guild of Master Craftsmen and Our Local Expert.

Oldbury’s specialise in sympathetic restoration of brickwork and stone on all scales, including wall tie replacement, chimney repair, arch and lintel replacement, render removal and and masonry cleaning (approved ThermaTech operators) Therefore, unlike other contractors we can provide the full masonry package, of cleaning, repairing, restoring, and repointing all brick and stonework.
