OJ Metal Recycling is a collection-based scrap metal business serving Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield and across West Yorkshire. We collect unwanted metal from homes, garages, landlords, tradespeople and businesses - from single household loads to regular commercial collections.

We handle ferrous and non-ferrous scrap including steel, iron, copper, brass, aluminium, lead, stainless steel, radiators and scrap cable. Suitable non-ferrous loads qualify for our weigh and pay service, where material is assessed fairly against current market rates and paid for on the spot.

We also provide commercial e-waste collection for computers, servers and office IT equipment, and specialise in cable and copper recycling. Collections are licensed and compliant, and we aim for fast, convenient pickups across West Yorkshire.

Domestic scrap collection - Free collection of household scrap including old appliances, washing machines, cookers, radiators, bikes, garden and garage metal, from homes and driveways across West Yorkshire.

Commercial scrap collection - Regular and one-off collections for factories, warehouses, workshops, offices, garages, retail units and industrial sites. We handle workshop waste, site metal, machinery, pallet racking and ongoing business metal streams.

Weigh and pay - Non-ferrous materials including copper, brass, aluminium, lead and stainless steel are assessed against current market rates and paid for. Send photos and details for a fair, transparent valuation.

Cable recycling - Household cable, armoured cable, data cable and mixed cable waste collected and paid for, from single bags to trade volumes.

Copper recycling - Copper pipe, tanks, wire, cylinders and mixed copper scrap collected and assessed for weigh and pay.

Commercial e-waste - Secure collection of computers, servers, cables, office IT and electrical components for businesses.

Garage and clearance scrap - Mixed clear-outs from garages, sheds, lofts, workshops and landlord properties.

Licensed and compliant - Collections are handled responsibly and metal is processed through proper recycling channels in line with Scrap Metal Act 2013 requirements.

Opening hours - Monday to Friday 07:00–18:00, Saturday 08:00–16:00.

Payment - Weigh and pay valuations paid on assessment for suitable non-ferrous loads; all cable is paid for.
