Lovely place to celebrate a big birthday with family. We took all 3 properties, with hot tubs, and they were perfect. We booked the pizza experience and I have to say it was fantastic: facilities, quality homemade and local ingredients and setting. Sue and Wayne were great hosts, some personal touches to mark the occasion and (thankfully! ) rescued our Waitrose delivery when we arrived late. Thanks again.
Myself and a colleague were lucky enough to stay at Oaks Barn for the weekend just gone and what an absolute pleasure it was. Wayne and Sue are a fantastic couple and more than helpful. The property is stunning top to bottom with excellent facilities and activities along with views which are out of this world. We could not find anything to fault because there litteraly isn't a single one. We can't wait to return, see you both soon :).
We rented out all of the accommodation on offer at Oaks Barn Farm in June 2021 for a fun but relaxing hen do. The setting was absolutely perfect, with lots of countryside views and peace and quiet - it felt like we had a piece of the countryside to ourselves. All of the accommodation is clean, modern and spacious. It's perfect for families or for booking as one large group. It gives the flexibility to cater for a large group, but the privacy for splitting into smaller groups when needed, as you can be split across three buildings. Wayne and Sue were very helpful in creating the perfect weekend and helped us to move our booking even during the uncertainties of Covid 19. I would definitely return, either with my family or as a group of friends once again.
We had a wonderful time at Oaks Barn Farm. We stayed in The Granary which was spotlessly clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable for our week long stay. The information that we received prior to our visit as well as the measures implemented at the properties made it feel very ‘COVID safe’. Wayne and Sue are amazing hosts and were always contactable if we needed anything. The highlight of staying at Oaks Barn Farm was the the working farm. Our 2. 5 year old daughter loved petting and feeding the sheep every day and she also was able to pick eggs for our breakfast one day all with Wayne and Sue’s help. They also put a toy ride on tractor in the cottage garden for the children to play on. The hot tub was lovey for chilling out and Wayne kept it maintained and full of water all week. The cottages are well placed for Stratford on Avon and Warwick castle which are both worth a visit. All in all a fabulous week was had by all and our daughter has not stopped talking about the lambs since we left! We would love to return sometime soon.Moreexpand_more
Beautiful serene little gem nestled in the Worcestershire countryside. Close to Stratford upon Avon if you want to visit Shakespeare birthplace, but also far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Accommodation is amazing sleeping 6 comfortably. Wayne and Sue are two lovely genuine down to earth people who made us feel instantly comfortable. We also tried our hand at shooting (I say try loosely because I was pretty poor) ? . Highly recommended from us. .
We stayed at oaks barn with friends. We enjoyed great hospitality from Wayne and Sue and slept like a log, in our sumptious bed, after the fresh farm air. It is local to so many attractions, Stratford Upon Avon, Ragley Hall and Coughton Court to name a few we visited. Yet we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, fully immersed in a farm. So peaceful and idyllic. I would whole heartedly recommend a visit. We'll be back.
We had a lovely stay at Oaks Barn Farm in August 2012. The accommodation was cosy, clean and had a lovely view of surrounding fields. Wayne and Sue we're lovely and very helpful, also generous letting us share their home produce. We had some wonderful trips, Stratford upon Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, Bourton on the Water, lovely area. I would recommend Oaks Barn Farm to anyone, great for families but also for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Julie Lee, Bournemouth.
Smashing place to stay, we had a great time on our week at Oaks Barn Farm exploring all the surrounding areas. Ideally situated and in lovely countryside. Not far to anywhere from here, Stratford and into The Cotswolds itself. Can highly recommend a trip to Broadway, such a pretty place, to Worcester for the Cathedral and to Warwick Castle for a taste of ye olden days. The accommodation was second to none and loved having the animals and wildlife on your doorstep. Wayne and Sue have made a great getaway place for a weekend away or for longer like us. Can highly recommend, so please give it a stay.
