High quality skilled tradesman, done lots of work for us over the past 3 years and I would highly recommend them. Tommy and Ash are time-served joiners and they are perfectionists and also lovely people. See below for a pic of the recent work they have done for us, new decking outside the back of our house, looks amazing! Also in the past they have fitted a new staircase and another area of decking and other joinery work for us, all exceptional standard. They have helped transform our home, thank you.

Asked Tommy to quote for replacement pillars for my front door as the previous ones had rotten. His wife, Kaye liaised with me using emails and texts. He visited my house, provided quotes and undertook the job roughly within the time scale given, which in these Covid days could be classed as a miracle. I'm so pleased with his work, that he has just visited again to measure up for privacy gates. Very glad to be doing business with a local, reliable craftsman (and his family team).

Tommy Donald of Oakdale Joinery has just done some work in refurbishing my kitchen. The standard of workmanship is superb and the end results are great. If you pose a question, the answer is always “yes, we’ll find a way around that”, never a negative. I know from experience that he is well booked up and will not be quick but he is worth waiting for. If you want a Rolls Royce job doing then Oakdale joinery is the company for you I would thoroughly recommend Oakdale joinery to you, Tommy made and fitted 12 Oak cupboard/ Wardrobe doors and a kitchen Hallway Room divider out of oak we were immensely pleased with the finished product first class workmanship. I've tried to upload a picture of the doors to show you the quality of the work when finished but have been unable to.

Tommy has done several jobs for me including new gates, oak staircase and flooring, revamp of kitchen to name a few, his work cannot be faulted and neither can his time keeping, I would highly recommend him.

Tommy made us an oak front door and a Yorkshire Slider window and fitted them yesterday. Top top quality materials and bespoken joinery. Kaye regularly kept us informed of progress and everything was done when we were told it would be.

Oakdale joinery replaced a wooden sash window in my Victorian Terrace with beautiful wooden french doors. Tommy did a fantastic job, took the time to understand what I wanted and completed the job on time and on budget. The doors look like they are original and are such a fantastic feature in my dining room. Tommy also replaced my back door and skirting boards, all to a high standard. Oakdale are a pleasure to deal with.

We had work carried out to the front of our house last week which included two new windows one of which is a large bay and a front door, woods both inside and out were replaced and all work done to a very high standard. When the work was finished our house was left with no mess at all. We are both exceptionally pleased with the end result.

I already have and will continue to recommend Oakdale Joinery. Tommy made us 2 beautiful bespoke alcove units with matching bay window seat and restored our sash windows including a bay window that had not opened for five years. The alcove units and window seats exceeded our expectations, great attention to detail, great additional features we would not have thought about and fantastic finish. Tommy was refreshingly punctual, tidy and friendly, and Kaye was fantastic on the admin side. We will add some photos shortly. Thank you once again.

I had a door made and fitted. I went originally by the reviews and found the service to be excellent as described. I was at one point slightly skeptical as it all seemed too good to be true; excellent communication, firm dates given for the job etc. , none of which I have had very often from tradesmen, however everything was truly exceptional from start to finish and I am absolutely delighted with the end result which is a real piece of craftsmanship.

We employed Tommy from Oakdale Joinery to replace our bannister, surrounds and make a new cupboard door. He is not just a joiner but a craftsman of the highest order. He is meticulous in his work and gave suggestions which proved to be absolutely correct. He cleans up at the end of the day and is always punctual and polite. I cannot rate him high enough!
