Steve came to our caravan storage site, saving me the hassle of taking it to the dealer. He was punctual, friendly and was thoroughly professional. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone wanting advice or any work done on their caravan.

Had my Bailey caravan serviced today and despite the wet morning, Steve turned up to my storage compound as planned. He was happy to proceed even though it was raining. Steve attended our caravan storage unit yesterday and fitted our automover. This should have been done by UBC when we bought the new van, but they tried to con 1k out of us for some wiring issue. Steve was early, cheaper than quoted, quicker than anticipated and the quality of his work beyond question. I have no problem in recommending Steve to any other van owner.

I needed a skilled technician to repair my son's old Lunar caravan after catastrophic bearing failure. After main dealerships either refused to quote or provided an excessive estimate, salvation came in the form of Steve Wood of Northumbria Mobile Caravan Services. Steve completely rebuilt the running gear at a fraction of the cost of his competitors. Equally important, I am confident about his workmanship. Steve has also serviced a caravan for me at home and is now certified to service Swift caravans.

After normally having the habitation service carried out by the closest motorhome main dealer which is nearly 15 miles away, we decided to see what was available as an alternative option as we found it inconvenient, always having to drop the motorhome off and then get a taxi home and back again to collect the motorhome as my wife doesn't drive. On searching online we discovered Northumbria Mobile Caravan Services. We decided on this company as they were able to carry out the service at a time and day that was convenient for us. They were also able to carry this out at our home where our motorhome is kept. Steve arrived on time, introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. Steve carried out the habitation service and also highlighted a couple of minor issues one being the leisure battery not charging. After checking the control panel he found the fuse blown which he replaced. Steve was very informative, friendly and most importantly very professional. As a first time caravan owner, I was unsure of who to turn to get a high quality service at a reasonable price. Northumbria Mobile Caravan Services were recommended to me by a friend, and I'm really glad I followed up on the recommendation. Booking the service was very easy and Steve arrived promptly at the agreed time at the site where I store my caravan. He was always polite and patient, as being a first time owner I had plenty of questions to ask. He explained to me step by step all of the jobs he was doing and why they were being done. There were a couple of small issues with my caravan, which Steve pointed out and made recommendations on, some of which I would have been completely unaware of. At no time was there any hard sell approach and he even went so far as to suggest some retailers, so I could source some parts and rectify some of the issues myself. It was really good peace of mind that I could be present throughout the service to see what was being done, rather than take my caravan to a workshop, leave it for a day and just hope that the work had been carried out. This is the first time we have used Northumbria Mobile Caravan Services as been let down by another company. We can highly recommend Steve and Denis they arrived on time to fit a motor mover for us, Steve and Denis were very professional and had a caring attitude they spent time explaining how to use the mover to me and my parents. We will definitely be using you again.

I recently had my 2 year old caravan serviced at the end of March, this was carried out on site where my caravan is stored - thus saving a long trip to a workshop. I owned 5 caravans previously but this service that I was able to witness was probably the most thorough yet. The attention to detail and the explainations were reassuring. I have already recommended this company to my many friends and will certainly use again next year.

Rather than take my caravan to a local main dealer to get it's annual service, I thought I would get someone out to save me the bother! After a quick search of Approved Workshops which I found through The National Caravan Council I found Northumbria Mobile Caravan Services. Although very busy around the time I needed the service doing, Steve managed to get me booked in to conform with warranty needs/ dates. He arrived promptly on the date arranged and talked me through every aspect of the work he was carrying out. Two hours later and job done and I'm confident it has been done to a higher standard than the two previous main dealer services! The upshot was…less time, less money, no hassle, and 100% confidence in the work carried out. I will definitely be getting Steve back next year to service again.

I booked my annual caravan service with Northumbria mobile caravan services using their web site, as a portal into the business it is a good window, very informative and better still easy to use. Once booked you receive an email and text confirming your booking and on the day of your appointment an hour before your booked time you get an email and text just to let you know when it is all going to happen. Exactly on time steve and his partner (dad) arrived outside my door got the keys and cracked on with the service, before steve did any extra work he came and showed me what was needed and why, in my case it was the gas pipe that had perished through to the point of being dangerous, even to my eye I could see it was well past its sell by date but if steve hadn't shown me I would have been oblivious to this problem. Other items that steve changed as part of the service I was shown the removed parts, no attempt whatsoever to confuse or take advantage of me. Steve does what is needed and goes through everything with you during and after the service. As a final point Iam buying a new caravan next season and steve will carry out all servicing and work for me going forward, his work is first class, he is totally reliable and very reasonable I wouldn't go any where else after today, I can't praise him enough. We were recommended to Steve by a friend who was very pleased with his work. Our caravan needed its yearly service and asked Steve to do it. Steve did an excellent service as well as a couple of other items extra for us. Very efficient, clean and tidy workmanship. His check list was very thorough making us realise that previous services were not up to his high standard. I would without any doubt highly recommend Steve for any caravan servicing and repairs.
