I am a birth worker supporting pregnancy, birth and postnatal. I support everyone - 1 parent families, big families, LGBTQ+ families, young families, older parents and anyone in between. If my premade packages don't suit then we can talk about a package that fit s round your needs. Most importantly I do a free zoom call before you book so you can get to know me and I can answer any questions you might have.

What does a Doula do? As a Doula I am there for support for the birthing parent and if present their extended family. This could be for a hospital birth, home birth or free birth.

I can help you find out the right information by signposting you to medically accurate information, help you understand the phycological side of birth, help you with your birth plan and help you to understand all the options for pain relief and if they have any effects on you or your baby. I will also help you understand the third stage of labour and how you can help your body at this stage. We will also put together a plan for after baby is born and discuss plans do you have the best support in place for going home with baby.

Postnatal Doula care packages - I have a number of care packages available. These will help you settle in with your Newborn with as little disruption as possible. We will have a plan in place of how you can be supported to care for your baby and get the rest you need too. Care packages can include - Chat about the expectations and the reality of caring for a Newborn, Debrief your birth, I can assist with light household duties (laundry, cooking, general tidy-up), Help with siblings, Support with breastfeeding, Encourage to mum to rest whilst I look after your new baby.

We can have a chat about anything else you may need and if required I can do an overnight stay.
