Needed kitchen tap replacing and contacted NJB - came within 2 days and did job which proved a bit more difficult than anticipated but no complaints from NJB. Very good and efficient service.

I asked NJB to quote for straightforward bathroom re-fit. Nick Browne took time to thoroughly explain and talk through the options He got the quote based on understanding of requirements and cost. What was to be a straight forward job turned into some major works only realised as old bath suite and tiles removed. I suspect many plumbers would have had to walk away at this point. However Nick, with his building experience, undertook joist replacement, wall stapling etc. He worked hard to keep the job progressing, going beyond his remit and delivering a fantastic bathroom. Not only was the plumbing spot-on but superb tiling and carpentry (large boiler cupboard and t&g bath surround). Three things that were so important throughout the job: controlling and communication of new budget (as original quote was void once extent of unseen building work required), standard of workmanship and his ability to clean up after each days work (and Giles also met these high standards). Spotted Nick's van in the neighborhood and gave him a quick call to sort out a problem with another plumbers work. After sorting out the mess of a job we had done two years ago we were so happy with his workmanship and friendly service that we decided to replace the wall panels in the bathroom - not wanting to do half a job again we decided to get the whole bathroom re-tiled - walls and floor. Nothing was too much trouble for Nick and he is always happy to listen to your requirements and offer advice. Very hard grafter, always punctual and is not afraid of long days - certainly not a slacker - putting in 10 hour days when needed. Eye for detail and thorough in making sure that everything is done to perfection. Would defo recommend NJB to anyone needing work on anything from a tap washer to a full bathroom or heating install. Thanks Nick for the fab job - loving the bathroom makeover with it's luxurious feel now (and the loo flushes properly now too! ).

Great service, very happy. Called needing advice/ a quick fix on overflowing toilet cistern. I use NJB Plumbing and Heating services regularly. Nick is friendly, reliable and trustworthy. He works to a very high standard, pipework clean and tidy even under the floor! Very good customer service, clearly explains what's required. I have used several plumbers from this site, Nick is by far the best, and comes highly recommended.

Called njb plumbing for multiple plumbing jobs, all were completed quickly and to a high standard with the added benefit of a friendly approach. All in all a very pleasant experience, would recommend.

I whole-heartedly recommend NJB to anyone. Nick completed a complicated bathroom refit for us to a standard well beyond our expectations. His work is of the highest quality - particularly his tiling - with such meticulous attention to detail that one would believe he is working on his own house! When confronted with a problem, he finds innovative solutions and came in on time and on budget. We now consider him to be "our" plumber and will use him for all of our plumbing and tiling needs in future.

I was left Nick's number by the previous owners of our house, and I am very thankful for it. Nick priced out a new boiler for us, along with 2 new radiators and replacing the existing gas pipework that ran underneath a concrete floor, with accessible pipes. His price was very competitive and he delivered. Originally, the target was to be finished in 2. 5 days but he worked late and was done in 2. They tidied up as they went along, and the installation was subsequently inspected by a gas safe register inspector, to his satisfaction. Whilst there, we priced out a refurb of our bathroom, which again was well priced, on target with our budget. Over the project, Nick was nothing but honest, very hard working and thoughtful, often working late into the evening to get the job done. Nothing was too much trouble, and given the oddities in our house, that says a lot. Nick always consulted us on finer details, and made sure we were happy with everything. He even double-checked some surprises in our house with a structural engineer, at no cost. We've been using the bathroom for a month or two now with no problems; it has been wonderful. I was very impressed with the speed that Nick from NJB Plumbing responded to my initial enquiry. He had great suggestions and gave good, unbiased advice when I was unsure about a specific issue. I needed additional work done and he gave me a good estimate of how much additional it would cost before it was agreed to be carried out and he was able to come back the next day to complete it, which was fantastic! Emergency call out on a boiler resulted in an exceptional service from NJB Plumbing. The work was completed to a high standard and everything was left really clean and tidy afterwards. I was so impressed with the care and diligence taken that I had them back to do some tiling wotk in the kitchen aswell - this too has been fantastic! Now I use them for any plumbing job as they always arrive prompt, do a great job and leave things in a great condition. Thoroughly recommend.

During our first problem. Amazingly fast response to request. Nick identified the problem immediately and explained what was wrong and what was needed and roughly how much it would cost. He identified the source of the problem offered advice and options, and full explanation as to the cause.
