Nick and Gareth came on the 24 July to remove a large pine tree, they did so very efficiently and cleaned up and took away what we didn’t want. I would highly recommend them.

Nick and his colleague Gareth carried out some tree/hedge work in our small garden. He arrived on time on the day agreed, consulted with us at each stage of the process, and left the area clear of any debris at the end of the day. I have employed Nick twice now, the first time to make safe a storm damaged tree and this time to reduce 3 hedges and remove a diseased Ash tree. The task was to remove branches from a leaning mature chestnut tree on a difficult sloping garden site. The work carried out was excellent in all aspects and the tree surgery was skilful, paying particular attention to the health of the tree. I was delighted with the work that Nick Cranham Tree Services did in our garden. Two tall cypress conifers were efficiently dismantled and the wood was cut into manageable sizes and a willow tree was reduced in height. The site was cleared of all twigs and branches and the price I paid was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nick Cranham Tree Services.

I had a number of trees requiring 'topping' and trimming along the driveway and near the road as well as in the garden. The survey process was excellent - plenty of opportunity to discuss the options for individual trees. The actual work was carried out quickly and efficiently, with proper regulations placed on the roadside. One tree was found to be dying and at no extra cost was made safe. The site was left clean and logs cut to size. Excellent, knowledgeable operator who I would use again and recommend.

We had a seriously overgrown driveway to our farm house at least 300 ft long. Both sides so overgrown the hedge formed a tunnel ! Nick and his team were brought in to prepare the hedge for layering later in the year by removing the overhanging branches. Not only did they do an excellent job, they made sure the drive was clear of hawthorn, clean and tidy and safe for cars. Highly Recommended.

I have used Nick a couple of times, once for removing an overgrown cypress tree and once for trimming the branches of a neighbour's oak that was overhanging my property. Both times the service was excellent, with good advice on how to deal with the issues and the work being done promptly and tidily with no problems. Highly recommended.

Nick came to attend to our very large and beautiful Black Birch tree - it needed sensitive pruning to retain its shape and make it less vulnerable to the strong winds we experience here. The service provided was to take down two trees from a garden in Golan. The work was done slightly earlier than expected despite poor weather. Both trees were cleanly cut off as close to the ground as possible. As requested all the main wood was removed completely from the site and the chippings were placed in a previously agreed area. The whole site was left very tidily. I would have no hesitation in using Nick Cranham Tree Services again or in recommending his work to others.

Following Storm Frank (Dec 15) we needed a 40 year-old Cyprus tree taken down which was in danger of being blown into our property. Appreciating the urgency of the situation Nick was onsite within days and had dealt with the problem. We found that he and his side-kick, Ezra, were polite, friendly and most efficient completing the task timely despite poor weather. They were able to take away all the brushwood and they cut and stored the timbers exactly as we had requested. The site was left neat and tidy. We thought the price was very reasonable. We would thoroughly recommend his services.

Would certainly recommend, cannot fault in any way. Quick response to my call, started work next day and completed work within two days, felling 4 conifers in small, rocky area of garden, close to house, shed, greenhouse and oil tank. No damage done to any structures or garden and it was a difficult area to work in. Very reasonable and competitive price.
