Used nicemove to move from Manchester to Carlisle. The price was the most competitive of the quotes and everyone I dealt with was helpful and professional. The move day could not have gone more smoothly. The 3 men who helped really calmed my nerves and packed the vans quickly and efficiently. By the time I arrived at my new home they had already emptied the vans with every box in the correct room. They made sure I was happy with everything before leaving, even though they had a long drive home. As a single woman moving on her own they could not have made me feel more comfortable and reassured. Highly recommended. Could not fault.

Patrick and his team were so professional and very helpful. The grand piano was moved very efficiently. And placed in the right position. We have narrow stairs with a perch lift on and they managed to manoeuvre a very large linen press upstairs. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them to anybody in the future.

Always skeptical about this sort of one off job (moving a heavy bath upstairs) but the men who came from Nice Move came were excellent. They were polite, courteous, clean and well prepared for the job. The job was done in 15 minutes and I would recommend Nice Move to anyone looking to move house for for jobs such as this. Really good guys and really helpful. And at a reasonable price.

Nicemove were recommended to us by a good friend, and I must say the recommendation proved worth it. Every interaction with the staff at Nicemove was phenomenally professional, from the point of initial contact, to the visit to our house to check-out what needed moving, to the actual move-day, when two friendly guys turned out and just got on with it. Clearly they knew what they were doing, dismantling furniture and moving it in a clearly methodical fashion, explaining or describing what they were doing whenever they felt we need to know. Unloading at the other end was just as efficient and professional - a glance was all that was required for them to realise items of furniture wouldn't fit through the front door and the confidently, quickly removed it! Additionally, I asked that one item of furniture was delivered to another address, and this was not a problem, though incurred a (very) small additional cost - it was not something I had asked for initially, and yet it was no problem at all. The price was excellent - even including the waiting time (for the keys to be released) and the additional furniture drop. A bunch of professional, amiable, easy-going but swift-working guys, who clearly know their stuff and are competitive in the market. If you don't use these guys, you're not getting the right service! Easy to recommend. Without question.

Fantastic company - we needed several large items of furniture moving at short notice, and they were happy to fit us in. Emails were responded to quickly, and on the day of the move, two professional young men turned up on time, and were very friendly and polite - we couldn't have asked for a better service. They really went the extra mile - managing to move a couple of extra bits for us which we'd forgotten about until they turned up, even though they had a tight schedule that day, and they made a great team, getting everything moved (even the awkward/heavy items) really quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Nicemove. I contacted them at short notice (within a week of my move) and they accommodated me with solutions and provided me with the packing materials I required. On the day of the move, two uniformed porters arrived and proceeded to work efficiently and effectively as a great team, nothing was too much for them and they were polite and courteous at all times. I moved from an upstairs flat to a townhouse and it was as effortless as it could possibly be. I cannot rate this company highly enough and they are priced very reasonably in comparison to some of their other local competitors. No upfront costs, you simply pay on the day for the time the job has taken. I was very impressed at being able to pay by card on a mobile chip and pin machine! Fantastic service! We booked a van with 2 men for the day to move house. I cannot fault the service we received in any way, the team were reassuring and helpful and extremely efficient. Larger pieces of furniture were dismantled and rebuilt at our new home so all we had to do was unpack! Thank you Sally and Simon.

Reliable - a great bunch of guys - took great care of all furnishings, always prompt at times arranged - nothing too much trouble, friendly and made moving easy.

The guys moved some furniture for me. They were very friendly and helpful and carefully manoeuvred the chairs and settee through my doorways without causing any damage. The original price that they quoted was reasonable but, because it hadn't taken them as long as they thought, the final cost was less than the quoted price. Overall, I was very happy with the service and price and will definitely use them again, should the occasion arise.

Great team. Brilliant service. Worked very hard on a difficult apartment move. The Pre move service was excellent too with Patrick double checking everything and booking city centre car parking spaces.
