We chose New Leaf Restoration because of the reviews of other customers and can now say we completely agree with all the positive reviews which have been left. Helpful customer service, Alistair could not have been more accomodating and the price for the work that was carried out was very reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend.

Alistair renovated two antique fireside chairs for us. His work was of a high standard and we are thrilled with the results. We would certainly recommend him and use him again.

I asked Alistair to strengthen a table in order that I could place a heavy lamp on it. He gave me a price which was very reasonable. I am delighted with the table – he is a true craftsman, a rarity these days. I would have confidence to recommend him to others.

We recently asked Alistair to restore an old tall boy. We were extremely pleased with the end result both in terms of restoration work and ultimate finish. Following its delivery we were only to happy to ask him to do the same with a copuple of other items.

Alistair expertly refurbished the top of our well worn coffee table and it looks as good as new. He gave a price after seeing photographs of the table and collected and returned the item exactly when he said he would. A highly professional service which I would absolutely use again.

It seems like forever that I have been looking at “distressed furniture” especially in France and Spain, wishing I could have furniture like that. I do have a set of Victorian chairs and dining table Fortunately I found New Leaf Restoration, or should I say, Alistair and Catherine, who agreed to distress them. What a brilliant job they have made of them. They were so professional and caring from the word “go”. Half way through their work they even checked with me to see how much “distressing” I wanted. I am so pleased with the finished product they have given me, I have asked them to do two more items. I say no more! . Alistair Boswell spray painted our kitchen cabinets. The finished product far exceeded our high expectations and we cannot believe the level of quality he achieved. Why have a new kitchen when you can get quality like this at such an affordable price? We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending him to our family and friends.

Alistair restored an old recotory table with 12 chairs. The workmanship that was carried out was very professional and we couldnt be any happier with the outcome. Alistair absolutely transformed the table and it looks better than it ever has. He really took on board our ideas of wanting it traditionally restored and completed the work to an exceptional standard. He also arranged for all the chairs to be restored and seat pads put on and re upolstered. Again this has been done to a very high standard. I would reccomend Alistair very highly.

We were debating whether ot not to charity shop the pine bedroom furniture. In the end we contacted NLR and Alistair came around with a sample that was exactly the colour I had in mind. The results were breathtaking.

Alistair recently carried out a refurbishment of our hand made wooden kitchen units, drawers and cupboards. The quality of service was exceptional throughout, combined with a very competitive price. The drawers and cupboard fronts were removed and the refurbishment of those was carried out in the workshop, whilst the frames and cupboard interiors, etc, was done in situ. The spray paint finish is of extremely high quality and really does have to be seen to be believed. Alistair was thoroughly reliable and professional throughout and we would not hesitate to recommend him very highly.

The large kitchen table and 6 chairs came back better than new ! The service provided by Alistair was second to none and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone who needs his expertise.

Alistair restored a large kitchen cabinet for me. He stripped and polished it as well as sourcing and fitting reproduction handle/locks. The quality of the work is excellent and I would be happy to use New Leaf again in the future.

Excellent work done to renovate an old-fashioned bedroom suite - suite looks extremely modern and has been given an new, exceptionally smart lease of life! I was extremely happy with the work done to my old table and chairs. They now look very contemporary and all my friends have cemented on how great it looks. Much better and more cost effective than buying new. I am very pleased with it all and will definitely be using them again.
