About Myddfai Community Hall & Visitor Centre
Myddfai Community Hall and Visitor Centre operates as a social enterprise. It is a state of the art new building, funded primarily by The Big Lottery Fund and was opened in June 2011. The Centre's large, well equipped function hall is ideal for Weddings, conferences, concerts, fitness classes, parties, fairs etc.
The Centre has a stunning gift shop, which contains many unique local crafts and artwork. The lovely cafe serves locally made produce.
The profits from the hall business go into the Myddfai Ty Talcen Charity which helps to support and develop community involvement and economic regeneration within /Myddfai and its surrounding areas.
Myddfai Community Hall offers a great venue for any kind of party, class or meeting.
It can seat 120 at tables for a wedding or conference or 200 theatre style for a concert, with staging at one end. There is a quality lighting and sound system and a new Roland digital piano.
There are 6 sections of professional movable staging available,.
Catering can be arranged or you can bring your own choice of caterer in.
The Centre gift Shop contains beautiful hand made products from over 60 different local small businesses, many are unique to the Myddfai Shop.
The cafe offers freshly made local produce for lunches or teas.
The centre has three part-time funded staff, an Events and shop manager; a cafe manager and a caretaker, who are all local residents and are also volunteers.
