I offer a bespoke online maths mentoring and coaching service, predominantly focussed at helping those undertaking their GCSEs or ‘A’ levels.

I have a professional background but have spent the last 4 years approximately, throughout COVID, helping learners to become confident and proficient in the subject matter of maths. I have different tailored approaches which vary on the type of learner. I hold an Honours Degree (level 6) level in law and my academic level in mathematics is currently at level 4 (foundation degree) and currently working towards level 5 (diploma).

Mathematics is not only important, but also enjoyable and rewarding. It can challenge us, surprise us, and inspire us. Mathematics can also connect us with other people, cultures, and disciplines. Mathematics is a universal language that transcends boundaries and barriers. Mathematics is a gift that we can share and cherish.

Having a mathematical mind means being able to think logically, analytically, and abstractly. It also means being able to apply mathematical concepts and methods to various problems and situations. A mathematical mind can benefit your career prospects and in life in general in many ways, such as:

According to an independent review of tutoring in schools by OFSTED, targeted, frequent and small-group tuition can help struggling can help struggling pupils to make around four months additional progress over the course of an academic year.

A Department for Education research found that achieving five Grade 9 to 5 (equivalent to A* to C) GCSE grades, including English and Maths, adds £80,000 to a student’s earnings over their lifetime, and achieving at least two ‘A’ levels adds another £60,000.
