Music Lowdown is the musician’s hub for honest advice about instruments, the industry, production and more. You’ll struggle to find musical advice that’s more bluntly put, anywhere on the internet.

Our editor, Alex, can often be found reviewing the latest and greatest musical tech + instruments, as well as offering advice on how to forge a career in the music industry. Music Lowdown takes a philanthropic approach to business. Therefore, a large part of the funds generated by the site are in some way injected back into sponsoring new upcoming artists. All in hope of helping them get their foot in the door, in what is fast becoming a highly competitive industry.

We encourage any young/ up and coming musicians to reach out to us to tell us more about what they do in the music industry + give us the opportunity to sponsor them.
