Martin has completed three pieces of work for me in the last 10 months. He repaired a very dilapidated and rusted Victorian iron entrance gate, adapted an existing gate to a new size and added new hinges and latch, and repaired a Victorian cast iron grating, all to a very high standard and beyond my expectations. Martin provided sound advice and competitive quotes for each project. Excellent and timely service every time.

We are absolutely delighted with the railings which look fabulous, so much so that a number of local residents have approached us to express their admiration. I required a frame to support a circular 1000 gallon w ater tank. Supplied the dimensions, got a good quote, told it would be 10 days from order, received a call 7 days later stating it was ready. We had a fire surround made by this company. They were very helpful in helping us to decide exactly what we wanted and a lot cheaper and quicker than other quotes we had received. We have had several people asking us where we had it made, it still looks like new after 4 years and I can't recommend them enough.

M&S Metalcraft designed and made a fire basket for us. We gave Martin an idea of the design we wanted and he developed this giving us advise on the materials and finishes. He made the basket to the size we wanted to fit the hearth we had. The basket is unique to our design, is handmade to an excellent standard and is the size we want. M&S Metalcraft transformed a slice of our old tree into a lovely garden feature by creating a stand for all weathers. They listened to our ideas and added their advice and imagination. The result is an elegant Arts and Crafts style table which will be much used for tea and coffee breaks! It was a pleasure to receive excellent service from a traditional family business.

A couple of years ago I bought an expensive tent with a fatal flaw; plastic angled joints supporting the bedroom areas. They all failed in the same way. Having little faith in the plastic replacements I sought someone to make a decent alternative. M&S Metalcraft responded quickly and I paid a visit to discuss the details where I found a warm, friendly welcome. They made some suggestions and we agreed the price. I left after an engaging and interesting visit. M&S Metalcraft reckoned they could get the joints to me in about week and, sure enough, 7 days later I was the proud owner of some nicely made replacement parts. I am a very happy customer who will certainly engage M&S Metalcraft again.

M&S supplied a couple of ad-hoc custom made steel items for our candle making business. Really fast and friendly service and substantially cheaper than other quotes. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends!
