Matt and Rob at MRE Contracts did a complete refit/remodel of two bathrooms in our apartment in a Victorian property - and the result is really quite stunning. Everything was done with meticulous attention to detail, on time and on budget. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending MRE to anyone.

Matt and Rob did an amazing job last Summer with four of our rooms. They built from scratch two wet rooms, totally renovated our family bathroom and cloakroom. Always willing to add a little touch here and there that we would never have thought of and using their experience to advise on layouts and fittings. Would recommend them to all. Absolutely fantastic guys Matt and Rob, couldn’t ask for 2 nicer guys, we are so pleased with the finished product, 2 en-suites and a cloakroom, would certainly recommend them. Coming back in November to refurbish the bathroom.

Matt and his team did a superb job on a complete re-vamp of our very old bathroom, creating a stunning and practical Wet Room. Matt was helpful from start to finish, from the planning of the Wet Room, offering advice and suggestions of layout, to the completion of it. As this was a complete refit, it was messy, but Matt and his team tried to keep disruption to a minimum, taking measures to protect the carpet and cleaning up on a daily basis. They were also conscious and considerate of our cat's well being (very important when your cat is scared of her own shadow). They worked consistently hard, coming in every morning and getting on with their work. Matt and team were a pleasure to have around and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Matt and his team did an excellent job of redesigning our en-suite bathroom and despite all the unknown hurdles Matt managed to keep to the cost and timescale whilst maintaining the highest quality finish. Cloakroom refitting with building works to accommodate a shower. An excellent job that started and finished on time. Moreover Matt had allowed sufficient margin for including significant additional work we requested. A good team who adapted to circumstances and tried to minimise the inevitable dust and mess. Excellent service - did what was quoted for promptly and to a high standard.

We were extremely pleased with the work Matt did on our ensuite - he re-designed the entire lay-out to a very high standard. Because the ensuite was so good, we asked Matt to do our main bathroom as well and the result was outstanding also. We would recommend Matt to anyone.

Matt installed a new toilet, sink and shower plus finished the work with tiling. His advice was sound and I was content with the price. He came when he said he would and kept me informed of progress. I would use MRE again and recommend. If I had one (small) gripe, it would be that he could have been a bit tidier/cleaner (e. G. Left some grubby marks on walls).

I am very pleased with the upgrading of my bathroom. Matt provided a friendly and reliable service, arriving when he said he would and the job taking slightly less than his estimated duration. He dealt swiftly and effectively with a few small problems as they arose.

Matt Evans demonstrated his wide technical capabilities in overcoming the several problems that presented during the course of this job. I would have no hesitation in commissioning him for future work. [[I am not happy with choices available in the "Value for Money" category. The either understate or over value the service. We certainly got value for money and I would have liked to be able to indicate just that.

Great job gutting old bathroom and fixing new one- standard of work was very high in all areas and job completed on time. Would recommend.

I had been let down by my original plumber and Matt came to the rescue to sort out a half finished bathroom mess! He was helpful, knowledgeable and completed the job efficiently. I would definitely recommend him.

Matt fitted our shower/toilet with minimal inconvenience, and was friendly and trustworthy. We were astonished at the speed with which the high quality work was completed. We are using MRE contracts again for our other bathroom.
