I recently had my MacBook Pro logic board repaired by Mr Dweeb repair shop and I couldn't be happier with the results! The staff were extremely knowledgeable and professional, and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. The repair was done to a high standard and my MacBook Pro is now running like new. I highly recommend Mr Dweeb repair shop for anyone in need of quality repairs at a fair price. 5 stars!
I dropped off my laptop at the beginning of the week as the charging pin had been dislodged while travelling. I agreed with the representative of this company that he would fix the pin in the charging point and do some diagnostics to see if anything else needed looking at. I got my card out to pay the eighty pounds for the pin being fixed and was told don't worry I could pay upon collection. I was also told that they would contact me by phone to discuss anything else, which was confirmed verbally THREE times. I went back today to see what was happening, they told me that when I walked in that it was going to be one hundred and eighty pounds and that they had tried to contact me via a portal, which I had absolutely no knowledge of. I had used my work email, but made the representative aware that I was not at work this week, so he would have to contact me by phone. So I dropped the laptop off with the understanding that for eighty British pounds they would fix the charging pin and look at anything else that might need doing and contact me, via phone, to confirm any further work. I went back today and they had done nothing! Someone else who I know also had a phone screen replaced by them, which was a sub-standard job and the phone never functioned fully after that.Moreexpand_more
The keyboard of my Apple Macbook was replaced. My ipad mini screen was replaced after a botch job elsewhere. The process of repair at all stages was dealt with professionally with notification by email and phone. I had opted to take my ailing Apples to Mr Dweeb after reading favourable reviews, clearly justified by my experience. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable, and obviously love their job, a pleasure to deal with. If I lived nearer, I might consider popping in from time to time for a chat. Considering the amount of work they have, they will be relieved that I live too far away for that!
Has son's ipad sorted out there…complex problem. All sorted, great value and great service / communication throughout. Faultless. Could not recommend more highly. Been back again, same faultless service. The owner is a real star. A pleasure to talk to. I would not go anywhere else.
I took in my aged Dell tower (which I still use for photos, old documents and printing) as It had stopped working. The very helpful lady immediately identified the problem and replaced the RAM for £70, giving it a new lease of life. It now works better than for years.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. On two occasions they ruined our iPhones. My wife took in her iPhone 7 to have the screen replaced and it had nothing but issues after their "experts" took it apart. The proximity sensor stopped working and when they tried to fix it the home button stopped working. My wife was fobbed off with a "well you dropped it" excuse. They claim to use genuine Apple replacement parts but it's very obvious they are not. I was insulted by the lady manning the stall on Saturday afternoon and was threatened with the police when I asked for a repair refund of £70. Avoid at all costs as there are several other reportable companies that'll do the job well. UPDATED TO RESPOND TO REPLY:I look forward to speaking with the police about the verbal abuse I received. My complaint stands. Leaving the aggressive behaviour from your staff member the fact remains that your company damaged my phone and were given three opportunities to fix it. After replacing the screen with a third party one you damaged the proximity sensor. When that was "fixed" the home button stopped working, despite the two attempts. As for your presence in the store why didn't you intervene if I was so threatening and abusive? You were not there and are a false witness. Again I look forward to speaking with the police about the abuse I received in front of other customers. It would've been a lot more professional if you held you hands up and admitted you couldnt fix my phone.Moreexpand_more
Disappointed and insulted by Mr Dweeb. Took my iphone 7 in to repair the the broken glass last week, looked fine on collection and done in an hour as promised, only to find the proximity sensor did not work making phone call use difficult. Returned today to have it fixed (I was told the work was guaranteed), came back an hour later and proximity sensor was working but home button had failed. I was then told that could not be fixed today and no guarantees that it could be fixed if I left it for a full day on Monday. It was suggested I go to Apple instead to get them to repair it. Turns out the work isn't guaranteed. So, getting your phone glass repaired is hit and miss. You'll get a glass screen but you could end up with a damaged phone (T&Cs say if electronics fail for unknown reason in their care, they are not taking responsibility). My husband went down to get a refund as he had unknown to me taken my daughter's phone to be repaired with the same consequence. He didn't get the refund but did get insulted.Moreexpand_more
After being told by the Apple Store that my iphone6 was dead and would never turn on again ("I hope you've backed it up! ") I decided there was nothing to lose and took it to Mr Dweeb. Ren (sp? ) couldn't have been more helpful and said it sounded like a battery prob (which I had suspected all along). I picked up my WORKING phone later that day with a new apple battery installed (and a one year warranty! ) and was made to feel like at anytime I could bring it back to Mr Dweeb should probs continue. Mr Dweeb saved me hundreds of £s (no Apple Store I won't be needing a new phone! ) and only £40 later the phone is as good as new. Highly, highly recommend, big thanks Mr Dweeb!
My iPhone died very suddenly this morning with no warning whatsoever, and I was at a loss about what to do. It was Friday, and I knew I definitely needed to use my phone over the weekend. I took it to Mr Dweeb; having found them online, and they managed to fix it for me in a few hours! They were lovely and explained things well, and did what they said they would. I was pleased with their service and would recommend them to my friends.
I took my computer to Mr Dweeb as I was unable to connect to the internet. They were really helpful and dealt with the problem very quickly and efficiently. Also told me how to stop the problem in the future. It's so nice to have a computer shop so close to where I live that can do the work and not make you feel like an idiot.
I brought a Glass screen protector for my apple phone. It was a good value for money the service was brilliant . I saw that lady who works there she is one Of the politest and nice person you can speak to. The quality was all right but after a few day the glass broke.
I bought a reconditioned phone from Mr Dweeb and though I accepted it had scratches I reluctantly bought it as I was in an emergency situation and needed to get a phone for my wife. When I got it home I discovered it was in a far worse state than I thought and the front of the phone actually started coming away when I was putting on the case. I went in the next day and asked for a refund and they were rude to me, personally insulting me and insisted they would only issue me a credit note. I feel robbed and would not use them again.
