Our thanks to Ally, Bill and Matt for helping us with our house move and dealing with the whole process so smoothly and professionally - we would highly recommend Move and Remove to anyone. Ally helped us plan all the logistics, equipped us with enough boxes in advance of the move to help us pack, and when the actual move came, Bill and Matt were top class. Everything was packed up with the minimum of fuss, and at the other end, exactly the same when it came to putting everything safely and neatly into our new home. Thank you all, and we will be sure to let our friends and family know where to turn whenever it's their turn to move.

Fantastic experience with a medium size move between 2 flats. Movers were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The move was completed to a really high standard and we would absolutely move with them again!

I have now used Ally and his team for two house moves and am and always have been very satisfied with the services provided. Having packaging and packing service is a huge weight off my mind and I know that I can trust the team to take care of everything for me. The first item placed at my new home was my welcome mat of the front door which I thought was just a really thoghful gesture! Not only packing and moving my household items, I was also able to have some items disposed of for me which was another bonus and another thing off my mind. Not only is the service fantastic but it comes at a very reasonable price and much cheaper than most other companies. I definitely recommend Ally and his team.

Bill and his team provided a great moving service for me on 25/04/25. They arrived on time, took care of my possessions, waited for my new home to be available to unload everything, and ensured my furniture and boxes were in the rooms I wanted before leaving. A very efficient service and very reasonably priced - a lot cheaper than some other quotes I received in Edinburgh!

We used Move and Remove's services when moving from Edinburgh to East Calder. Ally and his team did a fantastic job, packing up our 3 bedroom home in about two hours, and another three hours later, it was all assembled in our new home. All our requests were catered for, the team were friendly, helpful and professional. The fact that they were reasonably priced was the icing on the cake. Don't hesitate to engage Move and Remove. You will not be disappointed.

Move and Remove have helped us first move across Edinburgh and then my elderly mother move from London to Edinburgh. Both times the team gave us an unbeatable price, they were in touch throughout the move, offered very helpful advice, they were on time and were able to accommodate us at relatively short notice. Our second move was especially complicated, but they were reassuring, very professional and showed the greatest consideration, empathy and respect to a person of age. They were also able to put our things into storage at competitive prices. This is a very experienced firm who put people first.

Ally and his team were great with the move. They came on time, moved things out with ease, furniture, mirrors, bags, baskets and then put everything in place, to the right rooms in the new place. Made my move a lot less stressful! Really friendly and put me at ease too.

Such a wonderful and lovely experience from begining to end with Move and Remove, I was recommended by a client of mines as they have used Move and Remove for each of their moves and have spoken very highly of them. Great service provided by Ally and his team when we moved all our stuff from our Edinburgh flat into storage. Good value, nice guys and everything went smoothly. Would recommend!

Aly and his Team have helped me move twice. Once from Edinburgh to Jedburgh, another time Jedburgh to West Lothian. It has always been cheaper than any other quote I have got and I know I can trust him. They are professionals and really are careful with your stuff. For example, I had a leather chair and to protect it they wrapped in carpet. My TV and picture frames were strapped down so they wouldn't be damaged. I move as a single woman which can be intimidating as once I pack I am exhausted. So having a good company who are safe and look after you is brilliant. Unlike a lot of moving companies, if you have more stuff than expected (like I always do as I am awful at calculating the number of boxes etc), the prices are fair and he doesn't take advantage of you just asking for an extra £50 if it's a lot more than expected. That is really rare in the Moving world as too often people take advantage of you because you are vulnerable. I would greatly recommend Aly and his crew to anyone who is moving across Scotland and beyond.Moreexpand_more

This is the second time Ally and his team have moved us. They were so good the first time we didn't bother asking anyone else for a quote. Everything was loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently, and arrived at our new address safe and sound. They loaned us appropriate boxes for electronics, were happy to place furniture exactly where we wanted it, and even dismantled and rebuilt some awkward pieces for us. Throughout the entire move Ally and his people were friendly and professional. We'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Move and Remove to anyone except people we don't like. .
