I was really impressed with the quality of service from MGR Removals. Moving house is stressful at the best of times, but from the start I was made to feel confident they were a good company. Ewa, who organised the booking, was friendly, informative and always at hand to answer questions and give reassurance that the procedure would run smoothly. Great customer service skills. The two removal men Mickey and Jarek were also very professional. I had initially thought they might cancel, because the rain was bucketing down relentlessly that morning, but they arrived well ahead of time, said the rain was no problem, carefully covered and carried down all the furniture and belongings down from my fourth floor flat and conveyed them to their North London destination, without a hitch and in record time. They were cheerful, respectful and super-efficient. I can thoroughly recommend MGR Removals to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient removal company.

Moved from London to Glasgow, Michael and team were fantastic. At a really stressful time they made the process much easier. They were really friendly, helpful and diligent Would definitely recommend!

This month is a year since I moved. Michael provided the initial quote. I found him very professional and transparent to costs and payments. I used MGR packing services, which was most helpful as I was still recovering from a back injury. Paul and his colleagues carried out the packing of my cluttered home, assisted with disposal of unwanted items (after a quote with head office on the day) and the move Unfortunately, the property I was moving to fell through at short notice. Michael and Justyna were very supportive and organised storage. Justyna was very patient as property dates kept changing. MGR provided wonderful continuity as I benefited from the same team, led by Paul, to move into my new home over 3 months later. Due to the new property vendors not vacating the property as contracted, I was delayed further and incurred further costs. Justyna assisted brilliantly, including prompt refund of any excess storage prepaid weeks once moved in. Unfortunately, the country went in lockdown, and being a frontline NHS worker, I struggled to unpack. Once more, MGR came to the rescue with flexibility for the boxes collection; Justyna was always helpful and courteous, with clear communications. MGR made a challenging move less stressful and provided an individual, timely, caring and professional experience. I am so grateful I chose the perfect company to assist with a house move. MGR Removals came and carried out a house clearance for us in Ruislip last week. The two members of staff that carried out the job were extremely, courteous, professional and hard working, they did a fantastic and thorough job. We cannot thank mgr enough for our move to Suffolk from Ruislip. A professional service from start to finish, a truly 5 star service. Such great communication on the day and throughout the move. I was impressed from the moment Bart got in touch with me to the point all the vans left after depositing all our furniture in our new home. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys, they were friendly, funny and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure to have them around in what is one of the most stressful things you can do. Once again thank you and I would recommend MGR (and have done) to anybody who wants to move home.

The guys moved my stuff that we accumulated in the last 16 years to a new flat. They packed everything, loaded, moved, unloaded, disassembled and reassembled a large Ikea wardrobe and a bookcase and bookshelves, etc. Etc. The whole job has taken them about 8 hours straight, moving fast and very precise, no silly breaks, smoking or anything, grabbing a very short lunch in the middle. Always polite, helpful, fully and clearly explaining all I did not understand, and doing what they could to respond to my requests. I have booked them just a couple days beforehand and gave the start time after 5pm the day before, they still were right on time and all worked out fine. Now they are also collecting the card boxes used for the move. All this at really lowish costs - I couldn't be more satisfied with the whole experience!

Excellent move. I have just downsized from Richmond, where I lived for 18 years, to a much smaller flat in Kingston. There was quite a lot of furniture and many many other items accumulated over the years for which I had no space in the new flat - the disposals were effortless. There was also some of it that went to a storage facility that I selected as being close to the new home - also effortless. The move itself involved some really expert packing by MGR, and labelling, and moving to the correct room in the new flat. MGR reassembled the bed and the Brobdingnagian desk. Two antique bookcases were carefully treated. I chose to do the unpacking which was easy when the packing had been so thoughtfully carried out, and left in the appropriate room. No breakages - great people, taking care but working with speed too. And very flexible - really understood my needs. Very good value, and thoroughly recommended. I was very impressed by the excellent customer service by MGR Removals. From the beginning, Peter the office manager was very helpful and professional and during the removals the guys that helped me were very polite, helpful, efficient and careful with my belongings. It wasn't the best of days to move as it rained all day! But the guys were really good and made sure the floors and items were covered so it all went very smoothly. I thoroughly recommend!

MGR tried to increase the price by almost one third only 36hrs before the job was due to take place. They claimed their own office manager had incorrectly quoted for the job. They stated they could do it for the original price on a different day and time which was not convenient to me (the customer). I tried to reason with them but they failed to understand that it is highly unprofessional and stressful to the customer if they try and increase a previously agreed price. Fortunately, the industry is competitive so managed to secure another removal company for the day and date convenient to me. Hope you have better luck if you decide to use MGR.

‘I used MGR removals after seeing their distinctive vans in my local area. I cannot recommend them highly enough and have found the service superb from start to finish. Evelyn in the office keeps in communication and keeps you updated with any changes and is very easy to talk to and friendly. The guys on my job were punctual and worked very hard from the moment they arrived. The pre-pack service is a must and saves so much time and effort. The actual move was stress free and the guys competently cleared my house and transferred the goods to storage where they ensured the goods were loaded in a manner that allowed easy access on return.
