Using Facebook I was able to send MG plastering a photo of some water damage to our kitchen ceiling and wall, I was then quickly given advice, a quote and a date when then the work could be carried out. My wife and I have recently moved into a new house, which needs a lot of work doing to it. One of the rooms needing attention is the ground floor study. Owing to a leak in the room above, the ceiling had bowed and was starting to fall down. I asked MG Plastering and Building Services to give me a quote for taking the existing ceiling down and putting up a new one. Michael came to give the quote and also started the work exactly when he said he would. On the first day, having taken down part of the old ceiling, he drew my attention to some dodgy pipework in the room above. He also told me that a joiner would need to put a new baton in the ceiling space to which plasterboard could be affixed. I was very impressed that Michael sourced a joiner to come out on that same day and also paid him out of his own pocket. Michael then put the work on hold whilst I got a plumber out to look at the dodgy pipework. Once this had been sorted out, Michal came back to redo the ceiling, which now has a beautiful smooth finish - see the attached picture. Leeds City Council charges for the disposal of trade waste and so, in order to save our costs, Michael gave us the option of removing the rubbish ourselves. We are very pleased with Michael's work and also with his cheerful and friendly approach! I needed my office to be warmer and also wanted to reduce the sound from next door. MG Plastering responded quickly and positively and came up with a great solution which meant the room is now much warmer and has reduce the noise levels. I thought that Michael was helpful about the options including price and the space impact of the different solutions. The work was carried out efficiently and the room was tidied up afterwards.

A great service by Mick of MG Plastering. The lads turned up on time every day and did a great job of replastering the whole upstairs of my house. The work was completed to an extremely high standard, and the finish was smooth with no cracking. The lads were friendly and courteous and even tidied up after themselves. I hired Michael and his team to do some plastering work around new plug sockets and light switch, and to skim one wall. They were very professional and considerate, going out of their way to fit in with my schedule. We have used MG plastering previously and they did an excellent job of removing artex and then re-plastering so we had no hesitation in contacting them to quote for another room to be skimmed. They came to look at the job promptly and provided a very reasonable quote the same day, which we had no delay in accepting. They made all the arrangements to take the radiator off and were extremely professional and friendly whilst carrying out the work. The room was left neat and tidy and the finish is so smooth and glass-like that it will be a shame to paint over it. All in all an excellent job.
