With over 15 years experience in the Asbestos Industry we offer quality removal and surgery services ! We are based in Portsmouth, Hampshire but we cover Dorset, West Sussex ,East Sussex , London, Essex, Wiltshire !
Working with asbestos containing materials (ACMs) is one of this country’s most regulated industries and requires access to suitably trained, experienced and resourced operatives to carry out the work; however not all asbestos removal projects require a HSE licence.

Meyer Environmental have a small team of highly trained and experienced Supervisors and Operatives who carry out non-licensed work with asbestos. This work is just not limited to removing asbestos containing materials but can also include encapsulation and / or repair of damaged materials or environmental cleans following accidental disturbance of a material.

Where the work is of more than a very short duration and involves medium or high risk ACMs then a licensed contractor would normally be required ! We can sort that out too
Meyer Environmental is insured to carry out both notifiable and non-notifiable non-licenced asbestos removal and hold the required waste carriers licence to enable us to transport and dispose of all waste created during removal projects.

Examples of non-licensed ACMs that Meyer Environmental can carry out work on include:
Asbestos Cement Sheeting or Panels Asbestos Textured Coating (Artex) Asbestos Floor Tiles or Coverings Asbestos Bitumen Asbestos Gaskets or Textiles Asbestos Resins and Plastics
In order to carry out any work with non-licensed, non-notifiable ACMs, the following must be in place / considered:
Suitable and sufficient training for those carrying out the work and also those supervising the work; Suitable and sufficient employers liability insurance that contains reference to working with asbestos; All work undertaken must be carried out in compliance with a suitable and comprehensive risk assessment; All works must be carried out in compliance with a site and task specific plan of work; Adequate control measures must be place for the length of any work including the use of respiratory and personal protective equipment.
