Popped into the shop on two occasions and both times the staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The first time they helped me to buy the right lock; the second time they gave me a really useful tip, which I used to remove a broken key. Everything a local shop should be - thoroughly recommended!

I sent in my key code for my security keys, they cut the keys then they sent them to the wrong house with my address inside, basically gave my front door keys to someone else, when I complained said we will pass it on to packing, that was it. And they are a security company.

Excellent service until today. We had an appointment at mid-day and were contacted prior to let us know the engineer was going to be late and would now be with me at around 1pm. After travelling 45 minutes from work before mid-day and already at my house, I then called at 1. 30pm for an update. I was told the engineer would be with me at 2. 30pm. I then stated I didn't expect to pay the call-out charge as I had been waiting for so long and was rather rudely told by the owner of Meridian that he "wasn't happy with me so lets never speak again". I cant count the amount of people I have recommended to Meridian over the past 3 years. What a disappointment!

John at Meridian helped me with a warranty problem with a lock badly fitted by a window and door company. They were useless at turning up or doing the work. He managed to obtain me a replacement Key Free lock from Yale (the item was not cheap either, £240 I would have been out of pocket with out his help). It didn't cost me anything to get this done How is that for value! Thanks Meridian for the service even though I was not a customer.

I have used Meridian in the past to change locks for me and have been very happy with their efficiency and prompt attention. Recently I have had a problem getting new keys cut for my bi-folding doors. Meridian persevered and now I have 2 extra keys and no more worries about losing the master key. I was charged so little for such excellent service I thought others would gain from knowing about them.

I have use Meridian over the years and found the staff in the shop and the fitters to be polite and helpful with a "no problem" attitude. I recently lost a key to locks that Meridian had installed. I had to go away. I called Meridian (whilst away) and Meridian cut a key and went to the property to lock the door and ensured that it was secure. We had a complete alarm system fitted to the house. We received good advice and the system that was fitted was exactly what we needed. It was fitted quickly without any problem. Meridian installed our house alarm in our old house and we used them to install alarm in our new house. Had to call them out on one occasion in last few years, they were very prompt and helpful, I would recommend them to everyone. First class service.

Meridian were able to sort out our complicated, non standard Swedish locks straightaway, where 2 other Companies had failed. The service was friendly, efficient and expert and the cost was very reasonable.
