About Melina Strachan

Melina has worked as a makeup artist for over 20 years. She has trained at Stockholm University where she benefited in expert tuition in fashion, film, stage and photographic makeup and prosthetics.

She has worked for exclusive brands like Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown, which gave her invaluable experience working with the likes of Laura Mercier, Pat McGrath and Emma Kotch on events, shoots and fashion shows.

She is now solely a freelance hair and makeup artist and has an extensive international experience in all avenues of makeup including editorial, fashion, beauty, commercials, still ads and TV.

She is based in London but available to travel both within the UK and internationally.

Melina specialises in TV and film, Commercials, Editorials, Beauty, Corporate, Private consultations, Bridal and Make up Lessons.

Melina only uses the highest quality makeup including Bobbi Brown, Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Laura Mercier and Shu Uemura. A personal, attentive and friendly service is guaranteed with a great deal of attention paid to detail.

Currently working at Edge Picture company but worked on TV shows, Ladies of London, Sparatcus and The Jono Project.
