Excellent, professional work from Mark Brookes: over two days, he repaired the fence, where several posts had rotted away, rebuilt a trellis, closed a gap where another post had rotted and re-built a raised bed using wooden sleepers. All work was done with the minimum of disruption and entirely without damaging the existing plants, especially the roses growing against the fence and the honeysuckle and jasmine supported by the trellis. The material used is of excellent quality and the result is a bright new look for my mature garden, which I am extremely pleased with. I can certainly recommend Mark as a most competent and hard-working landscape gardener, who listens to his customers' wishes and preferences, offering useful and knowledgeable advice but without imposing his own views. The price quoted was fair and was not changed even when the smaller skip quoted for proved unavailable and a larger one had to be sourced. Will definitely call upon his expertise again when the need arises.

Highly recommend. I had a new patio layed, with porcelain slabs. They did a great job. Arrived on time, got on with job and left everything clean and tidy. Now decided to have a new lawn and fencing done in the summer so will be booking with them again.

Mark has been a brilliant gardener! He has made our small back garden into a lovely place to relax and entertain. Mark has laid decking, built a pergola and trellis, cut back overgrown plants and trees, created a log garden, planted a range of trees and plants, built a brick BBQ, and built boxes for us to plant herbs/veg in in the Spring. He listened to our ideas and incorporated these (with his own expertise) into an interesting and imaginative garden design. In his work, Mark is very knowledgeable. He is also honest, very hardworking and genuinely passionate about horticulture. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any gardening/landscaping work.

Laid 5x 3m decking from the house into the garden. Not a flat piece of land so needed leveling and a step in one corner. Very quick and efficient job with a very professional finish. Professional throughout the work with a written quote and receipt of the work. Very pleased and will be using him for future jobs.

Thorough and conscientious from planning through to execution of the project. Care taken to be tidy and not cause too much disruption. Good aftercare program. I would recommend.

Phase 1: Mark worked exceptionally hard to change our jungle into a garden. He was faultless in terms of effort and manners and we were left very very satisfied. Phase 2: After the first phase we discovered rotten fences and a broken wall that had been concealed by the ivy. Once again Mark worked harder than we could have imagined and put in new fencing and also constructed a beautiful Pergola for us. It was a little harded to get hold of Mark this time and bad weather made it confusing when he would or would not be in but can't really fault him for the problems caused by nature. Overally extremely happy and seriously doubt you can get anyone else as hard working and decent. You know when he gives quotes he will not rip you off. Minor hiccups are inevitable but when you look at the finished product compared to what it was like at the start it says it all.

Mark did a fantastic job of mending a broken fence in very bad condition - creating a boarder for a lavender garden - and building a raised vegetable garden for me. His work was quick - and most importantly - carried out to an extremely high level. He's also a particularly nice guy - who gives excellent gardening advice. I would certainly recommend anyone to use his services. You wont be disappointed. .

He knowledgeable about plant/soil suitability, will advise on plants to complement your ideas/designyou know the cost before work starts, he stays in budget! Having originally employed Mark to do a small amount of clearing and planting, we engaged him in a number of larger projects which transformed the garden.
