Marie Wray holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies and graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 1993. She was admitted to practice at the Jamaican Bar in 1993, and has many years of experience in the Legal Services sector.
Having lived in Jamaica and the UK, and having practised Jamaican law in both jurisdictions, she is best placed to understand the needs of her mainly UK based-Jamaican clientele.

Her specialisation is civil law, and most of the work undertaken by her office involves:

- Estate planning (help and advice on planning how to divide and transfer one's assets after death). Many people choose to do this through a will, but this is not the only option.

- Wills, probate and administration of estates (drafting of wills; applying to the court for probate when someone dies, leaving a will; applying to the court for letters of administration when someone dies without a will; general advice on rights under Jamaican Inheritance Law).

- Property and real estate law (general advice on property law; dealing with transactions for the sale and purchase of property; preparing lease and rental agreements; making applications to register property/applying for land title).
