Marble White Counselling offers a professional service in Waterlooville and Cosham.

The service works with Adults, Couples, Families and Young People/Children. Support is offered to those suffering a range of issues including relationship difficulties, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, abuse, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, workplace conflicts, bullying and many more.

Marble White Counselling works in a Humanistic way, integrating Person-Centred Counselling, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Therapy, depending upon the needs of the client. This means empathy, a non-judgmental attitude and genuine presence is offered. The counselling is client led. Therefore, the client is trusted to bring the material they need to the sessions. Throughout the relationship (which both Person-Centred and Gestalt theorists believe is the key to successful therapy), the client will learn more about themselves and be able to identify any obstacles that are preventing them from reaching their full potential.

The practitioner is a BACP Accredited, Registered Counsellor and has a background in Education, Child Protection, Training and Adult Mental Health. A Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling with Commendation, which is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Teaching, a Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision and a Certificate in Couples Therapy are held.

Charges are sixty five pounds per counselling session, seventy five pounds per couples session and eighty five pounds per family session. Supervision sessions are charged at seventy five pounds per hour and a half.
