I chose Carla to do my hair and make-up for my wedding as I could tell from her website and instagram she was clearly very professional and experienced. The interaction from the first point of contact to present has been superb. The trial took place in a gorgeous set up at her house and I even had the company of her extremely cute dog, Rose! Carla listened to what I wanted to achieve and we discussed many ideas and looks, the final result was spot on, my hair was stunning and make-up was flawless - even though it was natural looking. I left knowing I had made the right choice. The products used were by luxurious brands and everything was extremely hygienic, new or clean brushes etc. The wedding day did not disappoint, Carla and her assistant Sara were punctual and got set up right away. They both had a calm and friendly manor and made the whole experience as stress free as it could have been. Carla helped me get ready and ensured my veil and my mums hat was on securely and gave tips on how to take the veil off without ruining my hair. Carla did my hair and make up for my wedding and also my bridesmaid. I had a really good trial run and on the day she made me feel so relaxed and look amazing. Her wonderful calm and happy manner really puts one at ease. I could not recommend her highly enough and wish her every success!

I have worked with Carla for a number of years in the photography industry. She is always my first choice for hair and make-up when I am organising a shoot. So when it came to my own wedding, I knew exactly where to go! Carla! I had the most amazing day and Carla worked her magic, making me feel and look like a princess! My friend was so impressed with Carla's work on her Wedding day, that she insisted I use her. I was a little nervous at first, as it had been ages since I'd had my Make-up done professionally and decided to have a trial. Carla was fantastic, she made me feel so at ease and really took her time in helping me to achieve the look I wanted -I would definitely recommend a trial! On the day of the Wedding (amid all the chaos) Carla was fantastic, very calming and friendly. She did an amazing job, helping to conceal all my flaws! I felt beautiful and confident and received loads of complements - even from my husband's best man! I would definitely recommended Carla to anyone - she was brilliant, and I know she will be very successful!

Carla did my wedding hair and make-up and I was thoroughly delighted with the result. She made me feel happy, relaxed, confident and beautiful. She has a lovely manner about her which meant I enjoyed spending time with her - especially the morning of the wedding which is such a special time. I was worried that I might look over-made up or fussy or square but she made me look fresh and natural. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to look 'better than their best' on their wedding day. I'd also suggest having the pre-wedding consultation, we spent a good few hours working out what I wanted so the wedding morning went ultra-smoothly. The only reason I have not rated her as exceptional on cost is because I didn't have a big wedding budget and spending any extra money on doing hair and make-up was a complete indulgence and an expense to me.
