We are absolutely delighted with the result of Scott and his team’s efforts in transforming our front and back garden. They provided us with excellent advice throughout the duration of the works on layout, materials and planting. We couldn’t have hoped for a better result. We are very impressed with the service provided by MacColls who have recently landscaped the garden and upgraded the driveway. The team working on the project were professional and skilled. They were very organised and worked well together. Especially impressive was the degree of communication between Alan (the project manager), us as the customer, the garden designer and the work team. A great job done redesigning our back garden with large raised beds and a new patio along with new paths all round the house beautifully laid. The work was carried out very efficiently over the 3 week period as agreed from late October and all the final tidying up completed soon afterwards. Many thanks to all the team.

Excellent work from Keith and his team in transforming our garden, despite supplier delays due to the pandemic. The quality of the work on the new sleeper wall, new turf, new decking and balustrade was first class The team were very pleasant and professional throughout.

The team were great in looking at the space we had and the ideas for the garden. They considered our budget when looking at the design and materials etc. The team working on the garden did a great job and made sure it was not left a mess at the end of each day. They worked through all weather conditions. Can not rate them highly enough.

Scott helped us with the initial design and came with loads of ideas of how we could maximise the space in our garden and now we have 2 beautiful and usable seating areas, a driveway that really sets off the house, a pergola and its all linked together with borders and paths……. Nothing was a bother and they made the process so easy and the team were so great to have on site! We cannot recommend MacColl and Stokes Landscaping highly enough. Thoroughly professional, reliable, and with work of the highest quality, the team have completely transformed a previously unused area of our garden into our own little oasis. My husband and I regularly comment that it’s the best investment we have ever made! We really weren’t sure what to do with our garden space, and certainly could never have imagined how fabulous it would turn out to be. Scott and his team are real experts, offering suggestions we would never have thought of ourselves, and guiding us seamlessly through the whole process. If you are in any doubt about utilising their services don’t be - I promise, you will be delighted with the end product.

Delighted with the work that’s been done. Our garden was a large space but total disaster zone! They dug the whole place up, cleared the site and started again. We have everything we asked for - beautiful slabbing, patio, pergola, old driveway taken away, new gate and walled surround, loads of beautiful plants and trees. It’s an amazing transformation and we love being in it. All our neighbours have commented on how great it looks. The guys turned up every day, worked hard and communicated regularly with us. The quality of MacColl and Stokes Landscape work is fantastic and to be highly recommended. From the design input by Mhairi Auld Garden Design (Milngavie, Glasgow) to the hard landscaping detailed walling work carried out in January 2019, on what is a fairly sloping garden now effectively terraced, the attention to detail and use of quality materials really makes the work stand out. The garden is now highly admired.

I had an old, tired rockery in need of considerable care and attention to return it to its former glory. The guys at McColl exceeded my expectations and all done in the wettest of June days. We are delighted with the finished article. Money well spent. Friends and neighbours have all commented positively.

Delighted with the work done by Maccoll and Stokes to transform our new-build plot into a wonderful garden. At first we thought we would just do the minimum and get the area turfed but having met with Paul we decided to go for his proposed design. Communication was good from the outset and the work started a few weeks later as agreed. The work to level the garden, the sandstone paving and the timber work have been completed to a very high standard and they have clearly taken pride in their work - all this despite the constant wet weather they faced. We’re also very pleased with their choice of plants and shrubs. Our expectations have been met and more.

Scott and his team totally transformed our back garden. They did an excellent job and communicated with us well throughout the project and afterwards during snagging.
