The work was carried out efficiently and in the time scale given. The workmen appeared to be thorough and although they didn't work full days, worked hard when on site. I found the office staff very approachable and if there was a problem quickly worked to put it right. I think the one failing was the person who made the initial survey as he didn't make everything clear to the office management and this therefore called upon us to clarify certain points before the work started. The work that was done for us was the renewal of fascias and soffits and also the dry verges. This included removing the wood and replacing any rotten roof battens found. This is much more satisfactory than cladding.
Response : Thank you for taking the time to review us- as I am sure you will confirm- our workmen work extremely hard and don't take breaks and lunch breaks etc. They prefer to get on with the job as it can be hindered unexpectedly by our great Welsh weather! They also have to make a judgement on whether it is advisable to start a new area of the roofline at say mid afternoon- as they have to be sure that it can be completed- rather than leave it open to the elements overnight. Good communication is extremely important to us- for this reason we always put everything we are going to do in writing and this is clarified at the point of sale.
This gives the customer the opportunity to then raise any requests not shown on the paperwork and to ensure they get exactly what they are expecting.Moreexpand_more
