About M6 Fire Risk Assessments

M6 Fire Safety – Independent Fire Risk Assessments.
Serving Rugby, Warwickshire, the Midlands, and the Lake District.

Professional Fire Risk Assessments for Your Business or Premises. Looking for reliable, compliant fire risk assessments in Rugby, Warwickshire, or across the Midlands? At M6 Fire Safety, we offer fully independent and impartial fire risk assessments to help your business stay safe and compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Why Choose an Independent Fire Risk Assessor? Unlike some providers, we are not affiliated with fire protection companies, meaning: No sales tactics or pressure to buy fire equipment. Honest, accurate and unbiased assessments. Practical, clear action plans tailored to your premises. We serve all types of premises across the region, including Rugby, Coventry, Leamington Spa, and beyond. If you operate any non-domestic premises, you must have a documented fire risk assessment. This includes: HMOs, Flats, and Sheltered Housing, Offices, Factories, and Warehouses, Care Homes, Dental Practices, and Clinics.
Shops, Restaurants, Cafés, Takeaways, Pubs, Clubs, Bars, Hotels, B&Bs, and Airbnbs, Churches, Halls, and Places of Worship. As of October 2023, all premises - regardless of number of employees or occupancy - must now hold a documented fire risk assessment.

While there's no fixed legal timeframe, annual reviews are recommended as best practice by the Fire and Rescue Service and the Chief Fire Officers Association.
This ensures your business remains compliant with any changes in law or operations.

Why You Must Act on the Report.
The Responsible Person is legally required to act on the recommendations in the fire risk assessment.
Failure to do so can result in:

Fines or prosecution.

We are members of:

The British Fire Services Association.

The Fire Protection Association.

Our assessors are qualified by:

The Fire Protection Association (FPA).

The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
