It’s been 9 months since our destination wedding in northern Portugal and we’re unbelievably grateful that Lyndsey captured every moment so well. Before the wedding we weren’t even sure if having a wedding photographer and taking posey photos was really our thing, and now we can’t stop flicking through the albums again and again and re-living the entire day. Lyndsey is not your typical/conventional wedding photographer - she did everything we could have possibly wanted, she captured all the emotions, the laughs, the wonderfully quirky scenes, our family and friends in-action, and the most incredible bride and groom shots that even Josh loves! And she did all of this discreetly throughout the day and really efficiently with the family/couple photos. On top of that, Lyndsey was incredibly helpful in helping us reach out to quite a few a venues during our search, providing advice on styling of the ceremony backdrop and lighting for the reception, and had a non-fuss approach in travelling to Portugal. Lyndsey photographed our wedding in our wonderful romantic Cornwall, and she and her photography were absolutely fabulous! My bridesmaid recommended Lyndsey and after perusing her extensive and breathtaking portfolio on her website we knew she would create the unobtrusive, characterful, documentary photography we were after. The price was perfect, but it was the pre-wedding discussion that really clinched it for us because she gave us a very clear idea of what she would do on the day and explained her style, which is artistic without pretension. This built a lovely relationship so on the day it felt very warm and natural. As for being photographed all day long, we didn't even notice; Lyndsey is a ninja photographer! She also captured things we weren't able to see on the day because you can't be everywhere. We only had 5 staged photos per our request and everything else was just so fluid, including when she took us outside for 10 minutes whilst our guests found their seats. The photos of this moment were INCREDIBLE and yet this happened so swiftly and easily, and gave us a chance to feel alone for a short while to breathe in the moment and each other (even though Lyndsey was outside with us)! We couldn't wait to get the USB in the post and we were thrilled with what Lyndsey had produced for us. The photographs were truly beautiful. She presented our day as really cool and all about us but with her own flair added to it, which is difficult to do. Therefore the photography felt so personal yet with her artistic influence within them. We couldn't be happier with our amazing photographs! Our wedding day was the happiest and most fun day of our lives, and Lyndsey's clear love of photography has kept the memory alive for us everyday we glimpse one of her gems! Lyndsey was incredible before, on the day and after! The photos are more than we could ever ask. Lyndsey arrived at the hotel we were getting ready in and within two minutes was snapping away, she was so unobtrusive that I can't believe she caught some of the precious moments from that time, this pattern followed the whole day! Lyndsey even captured a swan we had no idea was at our wedding! We couldn't ask for a single thing more and as we got married peak wedding season we weren't expecting the photos for a good few weeks! We came back from honeymoon and an email with our first lot of photos arrived a couple days later, perfect! Professional, kind and very talented! Lyndsey was incredibly professional to deal with and took a great variety of shots, edited them brilliantly and had it back to us within about 2 weeks. She is at the premium end of the range but the level of service means it is worth it - remember you're paying for the hours spent editing and filtering the shots, not just the few hours that she is with you! Highly recommended and a pleasure to have with us on the day!

My partner and I were looking for a reliable photographer for our wedding in June this year, but there were a number of catches. It was the only chance that our entire families from around the world are likely to ever be in one place at one time, so there would only be one opportunity to catch everyone together! Not only did we want photos of the Family-Only-Gathering the night before the wedding, but we also greedily wanted as many as we could get of the whole event, AND we wanted photos that showed the true side of our families - mischievous, hilarious, completely weird, and very full of love for us and each other. Lyndsey photographed our wedding on 21 March 2015 and we can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure to have her. We are so thrilled with all of our photos and they capture such special moments throughout our day, and such a range of emotions. I found Lyndsey through searching for my wedding venue and there was a link on google to a wedding Lyndsey had previously photographed. When I viewed the photos I could see Lyndsey had captured the wedding in the most incredible way. You could see the moments of the day and see the emotions through the photos. I immediately knew I wanted Lyndsey to photograph my wedding. When I enquired, I was prepared to pay whatever the price as I knew I wanted the same memories for my day. However, I was pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced Lyndsey’s services are for the high quality which Lyndsey delivers. From the moment I enquired, Lyndsey was professional and always at the end of an email for any query I had. Over the upcoming months for my wedding Lyndsey was very reassuring and gave me so much confidence that I knew I wouldn't need to give her any guidance to the photos I wanted as everything she was saying would happen on my day is exactly what I wanted and what any bride and groom would want. On my wedding day Lyndsey arrived and was very friendly and straight away starting taking photos. Myself and my bridesmaids were all getting ready while Lyndsey was snapping away. We all felt very comfortable and at ease with Lyndsey being around us at such a special and emotional time. My wedding day was exceptionally hot and the sun was so bright that it made it difficult for any photos to be captured. However Lyndsey worked around this and took a few more photos in the evening. I have had compliments about how Lyndsey wasn't like other photographers and didn't direct guests to stand in a certain way or group together. As Lyndsey is more of a documentary photographer, she asked me only to give her about six staged photos, so ones with my family, the grooms family, the bridesmaids etc. First of all I was a bit unsure about this, but it’s absolutely the best way to capture the day. The photos which I will be displaying of my wedding are the natural un-posed photos of everyone laughing, not the posed, staged photos. It has been a few weeks now since my wedding and I now have the photos back, they are everything we could of dreamed of and more. Lyndsey captured the emotions of our wedding day. Her photography truly does tell the day's story beautifully. We knew Lyndsey would be a safe choice as we loved the photos she took of a friend's wedding but we were not prepared for just how much we would love every single one of the nearly 500 photographs she took of our wedding day. Each one is a special memory beautifully and discreetly captured just as it happened. My husband and I wanted our wedding to flow naturally without any artificial pauses or interruptions. In addition, neither of us were keen on the more staged approach of traditional wedding photographers. Lyndsey's reportage style and easy going attitude were exactly what we'd been looking for. Quietly observing our wedding party unfold, her presence and shooting was so unobtrusive that some of our guests even questioned whether we had a photographer! The result? Beautifully natural shots that captured the emotions and the otherwise unseen shared moments of our big day wonderfully. We first came across Lyndsey when she photographed a friend's wedding 6 years ago. We loved her pictures then, so when we became engaged, asking Lyndsey to capture our wedding was one of the first things we did. Aside from the beautiful pictures she takes, Lyndsey is hugely professional, easy to deal with (particularly important when the stresses of wedding planning are running high! ) and on the day, she tip toes around incredibly discreetly meaning that you can enjoy your day as planned. We are really pleased with the photos - in fact there are so many great ones, we haven't found a frame big enough to showcase them all!

Lyndsey photographed our wedding in March 2013. Preparation via phone and email was light-touch and thorough (just what I needed). Family and friends hardly noticed Lyndsey behind her camera - she is so nimble on her feet. She crawled under tables to capture some amazing shots of the children in the bridal party - nothing short of remarkable. We recommend Lyndsey without hesitation - she is a joy to work with and her photographs are second to none.
