At Lydford Gorge Alpacas we offer three immersive and interactive animal experiences with our beautiful, friendly and sociable herd of alpacas plus some very cuddly sheep! From Alpaca Walking, Animal Encounters to relaxing Picnics with the Pacas there is something for all ages and abilities. Open all year round we are located directly opposite the National Trust site for Lydford Gorge so you can make a whole day out from your visit.

If you fancy walking an alpaca then you can take your new furry friend on a 2 mile walk across a picturesque track on Dartmoor. Be prepared to be mesmerised by stunning views and of course your new pal!

Animal Encounters are stay on farm experiences and suitable for all ages and abilities including being wheelchair friendly. This is a highly interactive and fun session and is private for your group only.

For a really affordable experience our Picnic with the Pacas involves 1. 5 hours at the farm where you can bring your own food and relax in our secluded orchard space. You can go visit the alpaca boys at any time who will be right next to where you will picnic.

You can also adopt an alpaca or one of our sheep Snowball if you don't have room at home for your own! Choose from three different packages all of which are packed with fun, colourful goodies.
