Very impressed with a short-notice job replacing LVT with engineered oak. Overcame a number of challenges (including taking delivery of the floor away from the fitting address because we were not present). Received daily photo updates and understood the plan to completion throughout. All done in time for mass furniture delivery. Would use again without question.

Quite easily some of the best tradespeople you will employ for your project. The communication and professional attitude is first class. We had a tight timescale for them to work at our public house in Falmouth as we wanted to only close for a few days. Luke and the team were on time every day and worked efficiently, even late into the night over the weekend we gave them. I was very impressed with the knowledge Luke gave me to restore the damaged pub floor and the results are excellent.

We fitted the flooring ourselves and were happy until we had water damage, so we contacted Luke to save our parquet flooring, after water damage, and look at what he could do with the dinning and hallway floors. I can only say the factory finish on our brushed and oiled oak floors were no where near the high quality finish Luke provided. The floors looked so good, he’s now been back and refinished the whole house, with amazing results, the oak flooring and parquet has never looked so good.

Luke did a superb job with our creaky and cracked floorboards. He repaired and replaced the old boards, added more joists where needed and then gave them a fresh new surface. We are very happy with his work and had him come back to do more rooms.

We are very pleased with what Luke achieved with our floor. It was really badly damaged and we had been told by others it could not be repaired. Luke rescued it and now it looks like a new floor! All marks and dings removed. We were amazed. He was extremely helpful, he removed all the appliances and furniture and reinstated it all when he finished. Required a deep clean of our slate cottage floor. Luke was very responsive undertaking a through cleaning of the slates and grout before applying several coats of sealer. The slate floor looks like new and Luke was a pleasure to deal with and wholeheartedly recommend.

Luke and his team did an amazing job on our 100 years neglected and abused painted pine floorboards. I never write reviews, but this time I had to! The results far exceeded my expectations, floorboards were replaced with reclaimed boards where necessary and whatever was needed to achieve the best result was done. It’s obvious that the team take pride in their work, and I could not recommend them enough!

Our oak kitchen floor was badly worn, marked and scratched. Luke and his team worked with great efficiency to transform the floor with sanding and re- sealing. They sealed cupboard doors with tape but their process didn’t seem to leave any dust anywhere. The results were outstanding - the floor is a beautiful honey colour and looks like a newly laid floor. I would totally recommend Luke to renovate wooden floors.

Luke completely renovated both our large living room and kitchen floor in Mousehole. He eliminated longtime stains and transformed the floor with a hardwearing finish (we let the house to holidaymakers). We were delighted with the final result. He is also very easy to deal with. Luke and Rob did an amazing job with our floors they are completely transformed. All our downstairs wooden floors were in a shocking state. They returned our oak kitchen floor to how it looked when we first had it fitted 18 years ago. And the 100-year old pine floors throughout the rest of the ground floor have never looked so good. Amazing. They worked tirelessly to get the job done, at maximum efficiency, always with good humour, and their dedication to getting things exactly right for us was fantastic. They went above and beyond to provide customer satisfaction.

Luke transformed our front room in just 3 days. The floor went from a dark orange oak to a beautiful light finish - exactly what we had asked for. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

My entire 3 bedroomed apartment including kitchen/utllity/hall/ and living room have recently been upgraded including the provision of underfloor heating and an appropriate wooden floor using engineered wood. The wooden floor was entirely laid by Luke Floorwalker. From the commencement of the considerable work which involved liaising with heating engineers and others Luke was fantastic He worked well with the other contractors with regards to floor levels and materials in order that the floor base was satisfactory for the wooden floor. Once the base was finished he undertook the work in a timely fashion informing me regularly of the progress made and often offered tips and advice with regards to floor patterns/ the usage of underfloor heating re wooden floors/ skirting etc. What Luke doesn’t know about Wooden floors one could write on a postage stamp! On completion of the work the whole floor was cleaned and left in a clean and tidy state. His original quote was extremely accurate and very competitive. I have no hesitation in recommending this contractor The picture shows the floor laying in progress .
